A previous cast member from “Grantchester” has mentioned that she no longer watches the show since her departure, as it can sometimes be a bit emotional for her.
Actress Charlotte Ritchie played Bonnie during seasons 7 to 9 of the cherished ITV detective series set in the past, with episodes airing earlier this year.
As I bid adieu to the series, I must confess that post my departure, I’ve chosen not to tune in and watch the subsequent episodes.

She shared, “I didn’t, for the simple reason that re-watching something following your departure can carry a touch of sadness. Yet, I’m incredibly happy,” she expressed to RadioTimes.com.
Ritchie also weighed in on the new vicar, Reverend Alphy Kotteram, played by Rishi Nair.
Richie expressed his appreciation for Rishi Nair, stating that he is excelling in his role as the new vicar. He also shared that they had a chance to spend time together, which he found enjoyable.

As a gamer, let me tell you, stepping onto the set of Grantchester was like diving into an immersive game. The cast there made my experience unforgettable. They’re not just talented actors, but genuinely warm individuals who made me feel right at home. I can honestly say they were professional in every sense of the word.
She mentioned, “Those performers are truly exceptional: Kacey Ainsworth, Tessa Peake-Jones, Robson Green, and Al Weaver, and let me add that Tom is simply delightful. They’re all extremely talented. Thus, being in their presence made me feel quite comfortable.
She mentioned that it seemed right to make a change, yet admitted she does yearn for the days when she wore the blonde wig on the show. Truthfully, she wasn’t eager to leave it behind.
