Grant Denyer’s wife Chezzi admits she feared she had ‘psychosis’ before realising could communicate with ghosts

Let me tell you, I’ve heard from so many people experiencing things they can’t explain, and Chezzi Denyer’s story really resonated with me. She actually thought she was losing her mind, worried she might be experiencing psychosis, before she realized what was happening was something completely different – she could communicate with spirits. It’s a powerful reminder that sometimes what seems scary or unusual can actually be a unique gift.

I was so moved by Grant Denyer’s wife sharing her story. She explained that for years, she felt like something was off, like she was losing her mind, trying to figure out why she felt so different from everyone else. It’s incredibly brave of her to talk about it.

I finally went to the doctor. I had been really scared, because initially I thought I was facing something terrible,” she told The Daily Telegraph.

I grew up Catholic, and revisiting my past brought up a lot of fear about accidentally opening some kind of demonic gateway. It’s been a really big deal – it’s completely changed how I see myself.

Chezzi started exploring her medium skills in 2022 after one of her friends died.

I decided to really dive deep into my studies and enrolled at Arthur Findlay College in Essex, England. It’s a unique residential school – they actually call themselves the world’s leading college for exploring spiritualism and psychic sciences, and honestly, that’s exactly what drew me in. It felt like the perfect place to expand my knowledge and really hone my skills.

In 2024, Chezzi revealed she was ‘qualified’ to give readings as a ‘spiritual medium’.

Speaking with George Sargent on their podcast, the co-host of It’s All True? shared that she graduated at the top of her class.

As she explored her new career path, she reviewed feedback from practice readings she’d done, sharing what she learned from the responses.

She gave it a perfect score, saying the experience was completely healing and comforting, and that the evidence and value were both outstanding.

This reading was incredible – truly one of the best I’ve ever experienced. The medium connected with loved ones immediately and provided a lot of clear, personal information. It was a very emotional experience – I cried, but ultimately felt a deep sense of peace. I’m so grateful.

Someone else described her readings as incredibly accurate, sharing that the messages were exactly what they needed to hear.

I’m happy to help Chezzi with whatever she needs going forward. She’s incredibly talented.

In May 2023, Chezzi shared her intention to train as a spiritual medium and started taking online courses with The Medium School, which is based in Canada.

The mom of three posted a photo of herself taking notes during a Zoom meeting with her coach, which happened at 4:27 in the morning.

A medium is someone who believes they can connect the living with spirits of those who have died, acting as a bridge for communication.

You know, when I first started exploring mediumship, it wasn’t about becoming a ‘professional’ or anything like that. Honestly, I was just incredibly curious and excited to learn how it all worked – the techniques, the connection, everything! It was the learning process itself that really drew me in.

‘I chose this course as a way of learning to trust myself more,’ she told her followers.

She explained she wanted to improve her gut feelings and learn to be more present, so she could better notice important clues and meanings in her life.
