Chappell Roan was unrecognizable to fans on Friday as she appeared online with a new look.

In two pictures on Instagram, the 27-year-old musician sported a bright orange wig, causing people to liken her appearance to both Anna Delvey and Lady Gaga.

One picture depicted the Pink Pony Club vocalist, adorned with sunglasses and a slightly messy wig securely fastened, inside an elevator.

She was wrapped in a houndstooth-patterned shawl and held a coffee in her hand.

Chappell posted a comment saying, “The lady I encountered at the perfume shop, could you tell me again which scent you suggested? I jotted it down but accidentally deleted the note. By the way, you mentioned it had a scent similar to lipstick, correct?

One person wondered aloud, “Who is Anna Delvey?” as others seemed to share the same curiosity, with one individual merely confirming, “Ah, it’s Anna Delvey.

Delvey, who was found guilty of fraud, is the subject whose life as a con artist was portrayed in the Netflix miniseries titled “Inventing Anna,” with Julia Garner playing the lead role.
