THQ Nordic has shared the initial trailer offering a peek into the creation process of the upcoming remake titled “Gothic 1 Remake“, taking us on a tour of the studio, Alkimia Interactive, to reveal their approach in rejuvenating the cherished role-playing game.
Under the title ‘The Core of Gothic’, the opening installment in a behind-the-scenes series delves into the creative mindset for the remake, featuring insights from Game Director Reinhard Pollice, Music Composer and Sound Designer Kai Rosenkranz, Art Director Daniel Candil, and others, over the span of 13 minutes.
The video showcases Alkimia’s dedication to preserving the authentic Gothic essence, while elevating it for today’s taste. Additionally, it offers glimpses into revamped game locations, providing insight into the world’s progression and improvement in detail over time. You can watch the video below.
