As reported by the authorities, it’s been revealed that Gordon Ramsay became the most recent public figure who fell victim to a swatting scam.
58-year-old famous chef found himself in an unusual situation when mischief-makers decided to dial emergency services pretending there was an emergency at his Bel Air residence. According to reports from law enforcement to TMZ on Wednesday.
Originating from Johnstone, UK, this individual found their residence at the center of a deceptive story when someone pulled a prank by claiming gunshots were being discharged at the house. The authorities later confirmed this information to TMZ.
Ramsay, known for his popular TV series such as Hell’s Kitchen and Kitchen Nightmares, wasn’t there when the incident occurred, according to reports from reliable sources.
As I, an overly enthusiastic fan, learned from the reporting, when the police arrived on the scene, they assured everyone that everything was perfectly fine and there had been no serious incident involving my beloved neighbors whose interaction I had just witnessed.
DailyMail.com is seeking additional information from representatives of Gordon Ramsay and the Los Angeles Police Department regarding this matter.

Law enforcement told the outlet that a probe has been launched in connection with the incident.
The celeb chef did not appear to address the swatting prank on his social media pages.
Dailymail.com reached out to Ramsay and his spouse Tana for more detail on the incident.
The police suggested that the events appeared consistent with a ‘swatting’ incident, a type of hoax call that has previously targeted several high-profile figures in the entertainment industry.
As reported by AP, Swatting refers to the act of placing a hoax call to emergency services with the intention of sending a massive deployment of armed police officers to a specific location as a prank.
Threats involving bombs have been a recurring issue in the United States for many decades, but more recently, there’s been an increase in incidents known as ‘swatting’, where individuals or groups aim to trick emergency services into responding to a false emergency at the location of a specific celebrity or politician.
This group contains individuals such as Cardi B, Rihanna, Jennifer Aniston, Nicki Minaj, Justin Bieber, Paris Hilton, Chris Brown, Representative Marjorie Taylor Greene, and also the Playboy Mansion.
Before the year 2020, celebrities like Pharrell, Lil Wayne, Simon Cowell, Tom Cruise, Ashton Kutcher, and Sean “Diddy” Combs had fallen victim to a potentially harmful practical joke.
