Despite everything Caroline sent a card and gift to her newlywed son for his 31st birthday today.
Adam’s great-aunt Janet, 73, who wasn’t invited to the wedding yesterday, shared with The Mail on Sunday that she feels deeply sorry for Caroline.
It’s shocking how he’s treated his mother, considering everything she’s done for him since he was little. It’s simply unkind to treat someone who has given so much with such disrespect.
Let me tell you, dealing with difficult family situations is something I see all the time. In this case, poor Caroline was completely heartbroken and excluded, but she was determined to be near the wedding, even if she wasn’t welcome inside. She actually said she’d show up at the abbey and, if they wouldn’t let her in, she’d just stand outside on the street and watch – can you imagine the drama? It was a really tough spot for everyone involved.
She explained that she decided not to go because her husband, Mark, felt it would be too distressing for her.
If she hadn’t ignored her son’s order, she would have been stopped by five security guards stationed before the abbey’s old, intricately decorated wooden doors. These doors were surrounded by beautiful white roses and hydrangeas, framed by decorative columns.
Oh my gosh, you won’t BELIEVE how much the Ramsays spent on the wedding venue! It normally costs around £2,500 for a wedding there, but they basically rented the whole place out for the entire day! Can you imagine? They did it all to keep the ceremony completely private, which, honestly, just makes me even more obsessed with them! It was so secretive and exclusive, and I’m living for it!
Gordon Ramsay, known for his fiery temper and successful career as a chef, was surprisingly well-behaved as he assisted his daughter exiting a black Rolls-Royce. The car arrived outside the historic abbey around 12:30 PM.
He leaned in and whispered something to her, then gently kissed her cheek as someone adjusted her clothes.
A cold wind whipped around them as they walked, and a crowd of people cheered ‘Merry Christmas’ as they went by.
The church was filled with famous guests waiting to see the bride, including Sir David and Victoria Beckham – a couple who have experienced family drama of their own.

Holly’s bridesmaids were her sisters, Megan, 27, and Tilly, 24, plus Adam’s sister, Bethany. Bethany was the only member of Adam’s family invited to both the wedding and the pre-wedding hen party.
Family members mentioned Bethany was chosen as a bridesmaid because she seemed to naturally fit into the Ramsays’ sophisticated lifestyle.
Some viewed Bethany’s action – joining arms with Holly’s older sister and entering the abbey with white lilies – as a deliberate act of rebellion against her family.
The bridesmaids’ dresses were red and flowing, designed by Victoria Beckham. Victoria Beckham herself wore a teal dress from her own line, costing £1,290, and the bride’s mother, Tana, also wore a dress by the designer – a dark green silk gown.
Peaty, meanwhile, slicked back his hair and wore the same dinner suit as his new father–in–law.
No one revealed who designed Holly’s beautiful floral lace dress. The designer’s identity was a secret until Holly was safely inside the abbey, away from the cameras.
Honestly, the whole wedding was lovely, even though it was a little sad not seeing Peaty’s family there. But other than that, everything went smoothly and they officially became husband and wife without a hitch!
The newly married couple left the church around 1:30 PM, greeted by celebratory bells. They then drove to Kin House, a beautiful Georgian manor house located 17 miles from Chippenham, for their reception.
The wedding reception included a delicious meal with prawn cocktail, beef Wellington, and pan-roasted halibut, finishing with a tarte tatin. A traditional wedding cake was served later that evening at 8pm.
According to a source, Holly and Adam put a lot of careful planning into their event, and it all went exactly as they hoped. They were thrilled to finally share it with everyone.
Although the wedding ceremony and reception were kept very private, details are expected to appear in a future Netflix documentary focusing on the Ramsay family.
Caroline Peaty might finally get to see her son’s wedding when it airs early next year – it could be the first time she’s seen it at all.
