Gordon Ramsay sent his daughter Tilly good luck wishes on Saturday as she gets ready to run her first London Marathon.
The race is back this Sunday, and many celebrities will be participating alongside over 56,000 other runners.
Gordon’s youngest daughter, 24-year-old Tilly, will be running alongside Flora to raise money for the charity Feeding Britain.
The 49-year-old chef shared a lighthearted video on Instagram the previous night, showing Tilly in bed with her workout clothes neatly arranged on top of her.
He sent a sweet message wishing his daughter good luck in her first London Marathon, telling her he loves her very much.
Looking forward to seeing everyone participate! Best of luck to all the runners, and a huge thank you to the incredible volunteers!
I’m so excited about Tilly’s new project! With support from Flora UK and a partnership with a fantastic charity, she’s working to fight food insecurity all over the UK, and what’s even better is she’s hoping to encourage others to get involved too. It’s really inspiring to see!
This year’s marathon is stacked with sporting pedigree, Hollywood royalty and musical powerhouses.
Award-winning actor and Wicked star Cynthia Erivo will be taking on the whopping 26.2 mile race.
Amy Jackson Westwick, a model and actress, will be participating alongside her, and they’ll be collecting donations for Alder Hey Children’s Charity.
Harry Judd from McFly, a seasoned marathon runner with six finishes already under his belt, is aiming to improve his fastest time in his next race.
Meanwhile, Tilly, James Norton and Curtis Pritchard will be tackling the race for the first time.
Tilly announced on Instagram that she’s running the TCS London Marathon this month with Flora, and they’re raising money for Feeding Britain.
I’ve found that training is much easier when I eat well and have easy, tasty recipes to help me stay on track. If you need some inspiration, check out the Flora recipes on my page! #thestartofsomethingbetter
More people are expected to finish this year’s London Marathon than ever before, exceeding the 56,640 who completed the race last year.
London will see some sunshine, and runners in the 26.1-mile race should expect warmer weather during the late morning and early afternoon.
The London Marathon on Sunday is expected to have mostly dry and calm weather.
The day will begin cool and possibly foggy, but it should become brighter with warmer temperatures developing throughout the afternoon.
With light winds and dry conditions, it’s shaping up to be a beautiful, spring-like day – perfect for one of the city’s major sporting events.
