Gordon Ramsay playfully revealed he was shocked – and even a little tearful – when he found out how much his daughter Holly’s wedding dress cost. Holly married Olympic swimmer Adam Peaty last month.
The 59-year-old TV chef gave the influencer away at their wedding at Bath Abbey, despite a family disagreement that led to Adam’s mother being uninvited and only his sister attending from his side of the family.
On Friday’s episode of The Jennifer Hudson Show, Gordon didn’t mention any issues with his daughter, instead enthusiastically discussing her wedding. He even joked about how his large feet (size 15) made it difficult to dance with the bride.
He chuckled, explaining he got very upset when he saw the dress’s price tag. That’s when the realization of how costly it was really struck him.
Holly’s dress was designed with inspiration from the iconic Alexander McQueen gown Kate Middleton famously wore at her wedding in 2011.
Gordon continued, explaining that he and his wife, Tana, have six children – three girls and three boys. He said it’s incredibly moving to watch their daughter perform, especially seeing her grow from a little girl into a confident young woman. It’s a really emotional experience for him.
He also shared the relationship advice he gave them, drawing on his own 30 years of marriage to his wife, Tana, who is 51.
The key to a strong relationship isn’t just talking, it’s spending quality time together – things like dates, going to the movies, exercising, or even tackling challenges like triathlons as a couple.
This follows the newly married couple’s latest post from their luxurious honeymoon in Australia, which they shared on Saturday.
After starting their vacation at a lavish resort in Mauritius costing £6,000 per night, Holly and Adam continued their travels by relaxing in the sun in Queensland.
She showed off her fit physique and toned stomach in a revealing black and white outfit while going for a hike at 5 a.m.
The couple shared a walk and then enjoyed breakfast outside before Adam headed to a nearby pool for training.

While traveling, the couple tried their hand at cooking, making a curry during a cooking class just like the celebrity chef, Gordon Ramsay, who is the father of one of them.
On Thursday, Holly, 26, posted photos on Instagram from a cooking class, and one of the pictures featured her husband wearing chef’s whites.
Holly and Adam began their day by picking up groceries at the food market. Then, they went back to the resort for a private cooking lesson with a chef.
She shared photos from a morning trip to the local market, followed by a cooking lesson on how to make Mauritian curry with chef Adam Ramsay-Peaty.
Holly looked amazing in a bikini, posting new photos from her honeymoon on Tuesday.
She shared a selfie on Instagram Stories, showing off a black beaded bikini top and a red wrap skirt.
Holly styled her brunette locks into a ponytail and sported a pair of trendy sunglasses.
She also posted a picture of her husband, Adam, enjoying a walk around the beautiful resort where they’re vacationing.
The Olympic swimmer went shirtless for the outing and wore a pair of black swimming trunks.
Last week, the Daily Mail reported that Holly and Adam are vacationing at the luxurious One&Only Le Saint Géran, a five-star hotel and spa considered one of the best on the island.
After swimmer Adam completed a competition in Romania, he and his partner finally flew from London to Mauritius for a 10-day vacation they had postponed.
As soon as they arrived, the couple quickly went down to the white sand beach. Adam took selfies with some of the people who lived there.
According to a witness who spoke with the Daily Mail, the couple appeared very happy and at ease. Adam was cheerful and stopped to talk, seeming to be in good spirits.
Le Saint Géran is a luxurious resort located on its own beautiful peninsula, where suites can cost over £6,000 per night.
Built in 1975 as one of the island’s earliest luxury resorts, this property has hosted many famous guests, including Nelson Mandela, George and Amal Clooney, Rihanna, and the Prince and Princess of Wales.
