Gordon Ramsay opens up about the ‘pressure’ of filming with family for his new Netflix doc – after Adam Peaty’s estranged mother claimed her ‘loving and positive’ scenes had been cut out amid ongoing feud

Gordon Ramsay has discussed the stress of filming his new Netflix documentary, Being Gordon Ramsay, alongside his family.

The six-episode series shows the 59-year-old chef balancing family life and his growing business, all while preparing for his daughter Holly’s wedding to Olympic swimmer Adam Peaty in 2025.

I was so happy to hear about the wedding, but it was really sad to learn about all the family drama surrounding it. They got married at the beautiful Bath Abbey in December, but apparently there was a big falling out. It was tough – the swimmer’s mom, Caroline, wasn’t even invited, and his sister Bethany was the only family member there to support him. It just seemed like a really difficult situation on what should have been a perfect day.

Caroline appeared briefly at her son’s engagement party, but says a ‘loving and positive’ speech she gave to the couple wasn’t included in the show.

Gordon recently discussed the show on The Graham Norton Show, saying he believes it offers a complete and honest look at the pressures he faces and the importance of family life. He feels the show captures this well.

On Thursday, Adam’s cousin, Krystal Peaty, posted on social media saying she was removed from a scene, and Caroline replied to her comment.

Krystal jokingly expressed her disappointment on Instagram after not being featured in the engagement party scene shown on Netflix. She shared a photo of her TV and wrote, ‘I was actually there, but didn’t make the cut for my fifteen minutes of fame! Now I’ll never sleep.’

Adam’s mother responded to the post, suggesting she won’t be watching the show. She jokingly asked if they filmed her speech, Krystal, adding that she’s sure it was left out because it was entirely positive and heartwarming.

To be honest, I haven’t seen the whole thing, and I haven’t seen you either – you look a little blurry! Krystal said.

Despite asking to be removed from the latest series due to issues with her son, Caroline will still appear briefly in a party scene.

The event was captured on camera for Gordon Ramsay’s show several months before Adam’s family issues became public.

After the show aired, Caroline shared a message on social media Wednesday highlighting a contrast between parenting and grandparenting. She noted that parents tend to emphasize a child’s development, discipline, and achievements, while grandparents often prioritize simply enjoying time with their grandchildren.

Children thrive when they’re loved unconditionally, without any pressure to perform or be perfect. Research indicates that kids with involved grandparents tend to have stronger emotional well-being by the time they reach age ten. When love isn’t tied to achievements, children develop a solid sense of self-worth that comes from within.

Oh my gosh, you guys, I was flipping when I saw the lineup for Graham Norton! It was insane! Gordon Ramsay was there, of course, my absolute hero, and alongside him was Charli XCX, which was cool, but then Benicio del Toro AND Jennifer Garner?! Seriously?! And then, get this, the Foo Fighters actually PERFORMED! I nearly lost it. It was a dream come true just watching it all happen, honestly. I’ve rewatched it like, five times already.

Charli discussed her mockumentary, The Moment Charli, explaining that she’d recently gone through a big life shift while creating her album Brat. This album brought her a much larger audience than she was used to, and she found the intense attention overwhelming, confusing, and emotionally challenging.

I usually express myself through art, so when I got the chance to direct a concert film, I decided to playfully critique both myself and the music industry. It’s a world that’s perfect for satire, and I had a lot of fun with the project.

When asked if she’d always wanted to be an actress, she explained that even when she’s creating music, she’s focused on something else entirely – not actually listening to it.

I’ve always loved movies and found them inspiring, so I eventually wondered how I could become part of the film industry. I don’t feel limited to choosing one career path, though. I just want to pursue what feels right for me at any given time.

Benicio discussed his work in the highly praised film, One Battle After Another, noting its surprisingly relevant themes. He explained they filmed it two years ago, before the current intense focus on migrant issues in the United States, which the movie addresses.

He explained that he was responsible for Leonardo DiCaprio’s safety during a car stunt in the movie. He clarified they weren’t driving very fast, around 35 to 40 miles per hour.

Seeing Leo leaning out of the car, I knew I had to protect the diamond. I was completely focused on making sure I didn’t drop it!

Jennifer is back on television in the mystery thriller, The Last Thing He Told Me. The show also reunites her with Judy Greer, her co-star from the 2003 romantic comedy 13 Going on 30.

People get incredibly excited when they see Judy because of all her famous movies. And when they see us together, the reaction is even bigger! Right now, especially, the movie ’13 Going on 30′ is still a huge hit with everyone.

Jennifer Garner talked about her career and her TV show Alias, sharing that she did a lot of her own stunts on the series.

Each episode challenged me with something different, and it involved a lot of physical stunts. It was a crazy time, and back then, people didn’t really think about the risks involved with doing such big stunts.

When asked if the show led to more people applying to the CIA, she confirmed it did. She explained that a significant number of young women applied, a trend they nicknamed the ‘Sydney effect’.
