Good Morning Britain’s Alex Beresford expecting first child with wife Imogen McKay

As a long-time fan of Good Morning Britain, I couldn’t be happier for Alex Beresford and his wife Imogen McKay as they embark on this exciting new journey together! With over 20 years at ITV under his belt, Beresford has been a constant in my morning routine, and it’s heartwarming to see him experiencing such joy outside of the weather forecast.

Alex Beresford from “Good Morning Britain” shared the news that he and his spouse, Imogen McKay, are anticipating the arrival of their first child.

The ITV presenter and weatherman took to Instagram to share the happy news. Beresford posted a picture of his hand cradling his wife’s baby bump with the caption: “The greatest gift.”

He added: “In awe of my beautiful wife growing Baby B. We can’t wait to meet you. x”

numerous famous figures rushed to express their well-wishes in the comment area, with Good Morning Britain’s host Susanna Reid saying: “Exceptional news – heartfelt congratulations to everyone involved.

This Morning host (and former GMB presenter) Ben Shephard commented: “Ahhh what wonderful news.”

“So excited for you both!!!” Loose Women‘s Charlene White wrote.

In 2022, Beresford and McKay officially became a married couple, having been together for two years. It’s worth mentioning that the presenter already has another child, a son named Cruz, from his earlier marriage to Natalia Natkaniec.

This month, he celebrated his 20-year work milestone at ITV by posting an old photo from Instagram, reminiscing about one of his initial weather reports.

He recently posted a photo of himself at his current workspace alongside an image from 20 years ago, to celebrate 20 years at ITV. His caption read: ‘Time for a then and now comparison!’

Those eyebrows, that shirt, and the tie – not my best choices! I’m really happy I discovered a tailor and can now buy a blazer,” he quipped.

Over the past two decades, it has been an incredible journey, one that I never thought was possible. With the support of amazing individuals, I have accomplished so much. To more memorable moments and continued success!

Good Morning Britain airs live from 6am weekdays on ITV1, ITVX, STV and STV Player.
