Manila hemp, native to the Philippines, has been utilized by indigenous people for centuries to create breathable clothing suitable for the tropical climate of the archipelago. Nowadays, Goldwin uses this Pacific fiber in their contemporary designs, infused with KODENSHI® technology. This innovative approach incorporates tiny ceramic particles within the fibers, allowing them to absorb and reflect infrared radiation emitted by the body. This technology was developed in partnership with Dr. Norinaga Shimizu from Osaka Prefecture University, who has spent over three decades researching environmental adaptation and sleep science.
