Barry ‘Bear’ Myrden and Sunny Long, the couple from The Golden Bachelor, are showing everyone that their romance is still thriving.

The couple looked happy and relaxed while celebrating Bear’s birthday with his friends in Manly on Saturday.

Fifty-eight-year-old Sunny arrived at the event looking glamorous in a form-fitting, backless dress, accompanied by her partner.

She finished her stylish outfit with comfy gold shoes and a straw hat while talking with Bear’s friends.

Sunny wore a pearl necklace and held a multicoloured bag as she walked along her beau.

Bear, 62, dressed smartly for the occasion with a button-down shirt, navy shorts, and matching sneakers.

After our fun day out, I drove Bear back to his car. It was parked just a short drive away – about five minutes from where we were. I dropped him off and then headed on my way!

The couple were then seen driving separately to his house.

Last week, Bear had a birthday celebration with his sons, Jack and Charles, and Sunny and her daughter, Chloe.

One selfie, taken by Bear himself, captured their blended family gathered around the dinner table.

In a cute moment, Sunny sat on Bear’s lap while the couple shared a kiss and showed some affection for the camera.

Since then, Sunny has responded to critics who questioned how she connected with the first-ever Australian Golden Bachelor.

According to Yahoo Lifestyle, Sunny has responded to claims that Barry only selected her due to her frequent discussions of sex, calling it a ‘double standard’.

Sunny noted that reality TV shows, such as Love Island, frequently feature young people openly discussing sex without facing criticism.

I was on a dating show, and as I started to fall for him, I wanted to know how comfortable he was with getting close emotionally and physically, she explained.

It’s natural to want that in a relationship, and it’s completely okay for a woman to prioritize it.

Sunny pointed out that there’s unfortunately still a lot of judgment and negativity directed at women who openly discuss their desires.

She firmly stated she has no regrets and wouldn’t apologize for being truthful about her values and herself.
