Janette Bendle might be becoming a social media influencer, and we could see her in more television shows in the near future.
Although the Pilates instructor from Melbourne didn’t receive a final rose from Barry ‘Bear’ Myrden on Sunday’s episode of The Golden Bachelor, she’s now secured a significant public relations opportunity.
The 61-year-old has signed up with PR queen Roxy Jacenko’s agency, Ministry Of Talent.
Even though she experienced a harsh rejection on TV, Janette enjoyed the experience and is open to future opportunities that would keep her in the public eye.
I felt like the timing was right when Roxy contacted me, so I accepted the opportunity and I’m really enjoying it,” she shared with Yahoo Lifestyle this week.
I really enjoyed my time on the show and the energy of being on set. I’m excited to see what opportunities come next.

This happened after Janette shared what occurred immediately after Bear told her he hadn’t chosen her as his final match.
Janette truly believed Bear would pick her, so when he didn’t, it was incredibly painful and came as a complete surprise.
She initially believed she had the role, but when she found out she didn’t, she wondered how she could have been so sure, she explained to 9Entertainment, describing the strange feeling of losing her confidence.
Janette immediately sensed something was wrong when she walked up to him at the mountaintop where he planned to propose, and she claims she knew what was happening before he even opened his mouth.
She said she could tell what I was feeling as soon as she saw my eyes, and that it made her withdraw emotionally.
Janette admitted she hadn’t thought about what she’d do if she wasn’t selected, and the surprise left her feeling shaken and struggling to regain her composure.
As soon as Bear confirmed his heart belonged to someone else, she felt overwhelmed.
Her instinct, she said, was to flee from the cameras entirely.

She told Nine that she simply needed to get away and cry for a moment, which is why she suddenly walked off while Bear was trying to talk to her.
However, Janette shared that her first message after filming wasn’t to Bear, age 61, but to Sunny Long, 58 – the woman Bear eventually chose.
She explained that she eventually understood he was the one her friend loved, and she genuinely hoped they would find happiness together, whatever the future held. She wanted Sunny to know she wasn’t holding onto any hard feelings.
Janette mentioned they still keep in touch now and then, whether it’s through messages or running into each other at events related to the show.
Looking back, she realized she hadn’t fully appreciated how close Bear and Sunny were until she saw the season play out on TV.
She intentionally kept her emotions hidden so she wouldn’t scare off the other competitors, and she now thinks Sunny did too.
Janette now feels ready to date again and says she has no regrets about taking part in the show.
