Gold Logie Award winner Larry Emdur makes a VERY racy comment about his two 'filthy' trophies

As an ardent fan who has been following Larry Emdur’s career for decades, I must say that this man never ceases to amaze me! His recent win at the Logies was just the cherry on top of a long and illustrious career filled with ups and downs. But what sets him apart is his unique ability to take life’s challenges in stride and turn them into humor that leaves us all in stitches.

He recently wowed fans after taking home two of the top gongs at this year’s Logies.

Now, Larry Emdur from Channel Seven has shared a playful video, demonstrating that the recognition hasn’t made him lose his humility.

On Wednesday, the presenter, who is 59 years old, shared on Instagram that his Logie awards were multiplying or reproducing.

In the amusing video, Larry clarified to followers that upon coming home from an evening out, his Gold Logie and Logie for Favorite Presenter were discovered on the sofa.

In the amusing video, at some point, Larry is captured drawing aside a cover to unveil his two Logies cozily positioned on the couch, appearing like they were cuddling.

He also revealed that his ‘naughty’ Logies had produced an offspring of three ‘miniature’ Logies.

Kicking off the comedy skit with a serious demeanor, Larry commented: “Many folks have been inquiring about the Logies – let me clarify their current state.

I’ve recently returned home, and it turns out there’s a couple living nearby. Their place is the bar down the street, and tonight they decided to head home together. They ended up on the couch and then went off to bed.

‘Like FBoy Island and Married at First Sight, they’ve obviously been doing it,’ he joked.

‘I’ve got “baby Logies”… I’ve got three of them in a day. How bizarre. Filthy little things.’

Larry took home his first-ever Logie Awards in August.

The following day, he found himself fulfilling an unusual pledge from a week earlier, appearing bare-legged on live morning television and receiving a tattoo on his lower back during the broadcast.

The host of The Morning Show discovered himself in an awkward situation when he decided to have the initials of fellow Gold Logie nominees tattooed on him permanently.

In the center of the breakfast studio, Larry was stretched out stomach-down on a movable tattoo station, with Kylie Gillies keeping an eye on him.

Adjusting his pants to reveal just his upper half, tattoo artist Zach Spiros from Bondi Ink ensured his lower body remained covered beneath a black towel, as he worked on an unclothed client.

Kylie, aged 57, chuckled as she remarked, “I must say, that discussion was entirely new to me. In all my 17 years, I’d never looked at him like that before.

Larry mentioned that he couldn’t figure out what was happening, and then Kylie approached him and said, “It’s too near to your line of sight.

Kylie laughed, ‘I am living my best life… he’s actually shaking.’

Larry shared with his audience: “If I had won the Gold Logie, I was so certain I wouldn’t that I planned to get the nominees’ initials inked onto my backside as a joke.

As the tattoo artist started to press the needle onto Larry’s skin, he found it hard to describe the artwork, instead making jests and light-hearted remarks.

As a die-hard fan, my heart skipped a beat when I found myself uttering, “I can’t help but fear… where on earth did Zach lose his thumb?” A moment later, the thought crossed my mind: “Could this be a glimpse into what it feels like during an interrogation at Customs and Border Protection? It sure seems that way to me.

Simultaneously, Kylie positioned herself behind Larry, trying to capture images and videos of his tattooed backside.

Larry humorously remarked to Kylie, “Well, Kylie, it looks like we’ve reached the end of our road, a journey that has lasted 17 years,” adding a playful reference to her by calling her ‘peeky’ at one instance, which caused Kylie to laugh heartily.

The big reveal of Larry’s tattoo saw a line drawing of the Logie Award holding the TV, and within the TV were the letters ‘JM RI AK SK TA AL’.

On Sunday evening, the opponents who were also nominated for the Gold Logie, which Larry outshone, were represented by their initials in the letters: JM (Julia Morris), RI (Robert Irwin), AK (Asher Keddie), SK (Sonia Kruger), TA (Tony Armstrong), and AL (Andy Lee).

As a renowned figure on Australian television screens since my teenage years, I’ve always felt the glamour and excitement of the prestigious awards ceremony, yet until now, I had not been fortunate enough to take home the coveted award.

In a remarkable achievement, Larry claimed the title of the most favored host by winning the Bert Newton Award at the Logies for the very first time.

On a remarkable occasion, he was ultimately recognized as the triumphant recipient of the prestigious Gold Logie award, having swept all accolades that evening.

Stepping onto the stage at the Logies award ceremony, I, as the host of The Morning Show, ignited a wave of laughter among the audience by jokingly acknowledging the numerous instances my shows have been cancelled over the years and my diverse assortment of unconventional hosting experiences.

He casually mentioned that, should he win today, he would get the initials of all nominees tattooed on his bottom during a live broadcast the following morning, which promptly elicited laughter from the crowd.

I apologize, Sylvie, it seems our fanciful hotel getaway won’t happen this time. Instead, I might end up working out at home tonight with some squats.

[Sunrise host] Nat Barr gave me a glance as if saying, ‘Sweetheart, I only have 25 more minutes to snooze,'” he remarked, alluding to the close-to-six-hour-long award show.

‘I love this business so much. I love being in TV, and I’ve never wanted to do anything else.

‘I could be found anywhere, from having a chat with Lindy Klim about her latest invention – a face mask for vulvas on The Morning Show, to sharing a triumphant moment with a 150kg truck driver who just won on The Price Is Right, or even being known as the most frequently fired man in television.’
