Gogglebox Star Jad Nehmetallah Wows in Opulent Sydney Cathedral Wedding

On Saturday, Gogglebox star Jad Nehmetallah and his fiancée Sarah exchanged vows in a classic wedding ceremony held at St Mary’s Cathedral.

In a heartwarming moment, the well-known figure from reality television, aged 39, along with his beloved partner, could hardly suppress their grins as they pledged their love amidst a sea of friends and relatives.

At the altar, they exchanged a tender kiss amidst the applause of their supporters. Subsequently, intertwining their fingers, they walked down the church’s stairs and into a throng of dancers following their departure from the cathedral.

In a style reminiscent of ancient Arabic celebrations, the happy couple initiated the festivities for their reception by dancing with their guests before the event itself, right outside the venue.

In some cases, individuals were playing Middle Eastern musical instruments such as the mijwiz, whereas others created a circle and were clapping rhythmically. Meanwhile, Jad and Sarah danced harmoniously in the center to the melodious tunes.

Sarah captivated everyone wearing a stunning, rhinestone-embellished strapless dress designed by Steven Khalil. The dress showcased a form-fitting bodice that then expanded into full, flowing skirts.

As they moved with their lengthy trains trailing behind them, the bridesmaids took care to keep their elegant dresses immaculate all through the day.

As she exited the cathedral, the hour’s bride gracefully tossed kisses to her cherished ones while holding a cluster of pure white roses in her grasp.

She subtly accentuated her own attributes by applying bronze eyeshadow, a neutral lipstick, and curling her lengthy, dark hair softly.

Simultaneously, Jad put on a stylish black-and-white tuxedo from Tailor & Co and combed his short brown hair tidily.

He made an entrance at the event location in a timeless vehicle, greeted by cheers and warm wishes from his nearest and dearest. For a brief while, he shared a dance with his male relatives.

Afterwards, Jad and Sarah found themselves lifted high above by their joyful companions, as the lively gathering continued to party during the wedding reception.

The location of the post-event gathering was elegantly adorned with luxurious dining arrangements, featuring a caviar bar and an open bar available to everyone.

Musicians, including violin players and a vocalist, provided enchanting music while the guests savoringly dined at their reception and indulged in an extravagant cake adorned with luscious raspberries and rich cream.

As the evening progressed, a disc jockey continued spinning tunes throughout the night, and the distinctive sounds of traditional instruments echoed again as crowds of people danced on the floor.

At one point, Jad and Sarah could be seen dancing in the middle of a circle of drummers. 

With every beat pulsing through me, I couldn’t help but join the exhilarating frenzy! The joyous duo, lost in the moment, climbed onto the table to dance, sway, and belt out tunes with us all!

After announcing their engagement, which came from a rapid and passionate courtship, the extravagant wedding of Jad and Sarah will take place.

Jad popped the question in Puglia, Italy at Castle Elvira on July 12, 2024.

He knelt on a flower-and-candle-decorated rooftop, adding a cello player for an even more heartfelt romantic atmosphere.

Today, I shared on Instagram that it felt like a fairytale today. God has given me an actual guardian angel in Sarah. She truly embodies the essence of a remarkable woman.

‘Beautiful, soft, caring, loving, smart, supportive and funny. You make me feel like a King. 

Today, we find ourselves side by side on this rooftop, because you’ve agreed to be my Queen. I adore you and I’m eagerly looking forward to sharing our lives together.

In an interview with Woman’s Day, Jad shared about his engagement: “The moment I met Sarah, I felt certain that she was my perfect match.

He described his future wife as ‘beautiful, soft, caring, loving, smart, supportive and funny’.

‘We bring out the best in each other,’ Jad gushed.

He mentioned that the bond between them sprang up swiftly and strongly, founded upon mutual beliefs, a passion for exploration, cuisine, kinship, and merriment.

‘I can’t picture my life without her.’

Jad and Sarah met through mutual friends and began dating in 2023.
