As a long-time follower of Gogglebox, I can’t help but feel a pang of empathy for Daniel Lustig as I see him enjoying his sun-soaked holiday, sipping cocktails on Spanish beaches and soaking up the Mediterranean sun after his split from husband Stephen Webb.
On Monday, television personality Daniel Lustig from Gogglebox was seen enjoying the sun’s rays while wearing small swim shorts at the beach.
43, the most loved figure on Channel 4’s television shows, spent time cruising through the picturesque regions of Southern France and Ibiza following his separation from husband Stephen Webb in April, clearly relishing the experience.
On a sun-kissed Spanish beach, the hairdresser created quite a stir while relaxing with a cool cocktail under an umbrella, sporting only swim trunks and shades.
In a recent Instagram post from last week, the television figure appeared smiling as he exited the sea.
Daniel frequently shares updates about his vacation on social media, ensuring his followers stay informed.
Previously known Gogglebox personality is relishing his cruise vacation with companion Lee Cooper, taking full advantage of the activities available on board.
Daniel struck some poses too at the Marseilles harbor, sporting a gray tank top, coordinating shorts, and sandals.
The hairdresser accessorised with a grey Kevin Murphy tote bag and a pair of dark shades.
After announcing their divorce earlier this year, Daniel and his partner Stephen are now enjoying a sun-soaked vacation.
For a decade and a half, these two were inseparable, married for six of those years. However, unbeknownst to the public, they had quietly parted ways eleven months prior to when they made their separation public.
Speaking about our relationship, Daniel explained that it had been wonderful for quite some time but eventually started to lose momentum. He felt that it was best for us to part ways amicably as friends.
The duo carried on residing and collaborating together, and Daniel shared that although it may appear unusual, their arrangement suits them just fine.
He mentioned that we are not only coworkers but also business partners, and the foundation of our working relationship has always been a strong friendship too.
Our current relationship is improved from before, making it all right in my eyes. Though others might not comprehend it, our situation has turned out positively for us.
The couple told The Sun on Sunday about the couple’s plans to divorce back in April.
Stephen said: ‘It’s with much sadness Daniel and I have decided to divorce.
‘Love remains strong between us, yet over time, we’ve unavoidably drifted apart. Consequently, we’ve chosen to go our separate ways.’
Daniel expressed: ‘With great sadness, we’ve decided to acknowledge that our marriage has concluded.’
‘I’m sure we will forever be friends.’
Stephen made his debut on the Channel 4 program Gogglebox back in the year 2023, over a decade ago, sharing the screen with his former partner Chris Ashby-Steed.
After their separation, Stephen continued on the program alongside his deceased mother Pat, followed by appearances on the show with Daniel.
Stephen and Daniel left Gogglebox last year to pursue other opportunities
It emerged last month that Stephen had joined the cast of Celebs Go Dating, mere weeks following their surprising breakup announcement.
It appears that Stephen was allegedly eyed by the executives at E4 for their dating program, and he seems eager to embark on a new romantic journey.
Daniel showed nothing but unwavering support as the former couple mutually decided to part on friendly terms, promising to continue their friendship.
Expressing his limited knowledge about the program, he shared with The Mirror: “Regardless of what he does next, I’m certain to back him and catch every episode.”
As a lifestyle enthusiast myself, I’ve always preferred the authenticity that comes from meeting someone organically rather than relying on dating apps. After all, there’s nothing quite like striking up a conversation in a coffee shop or bonding over shared interests at an event.
He mentioned that when he encountered Stephen, there weren’t many dating websites available; instead, there were no dating apps. They bumped into each other at the Town Hall, standing in line. I’d like to find someone that way once more, although perhaps not at the Town Hall next time.
Perhaps, in a potential scenario, I might find myself short on trash bags for dog waste, and I could approach an attractive individual and ask, “Excuse me, do you happen to have any trash bags?” To my surprise, he might reply, “Yes, here you go,” and hand them over, adding, “Here’s my number too.”
