Gogglebox star Amy Tapper details her 7st medicated weight loss journey in ’empowering’ post as she hits out at ‘bullying and unsolicited advice’

Amy Tapper revealed she’s lost an impressive seven stone in a new Instagram post, and spoke out against bullying and unwanted advice.

The 25-year-old Gogglebox star has inspired a lot of people by openly sharing her personal struggles over the past few months.

The reality star shared a heartfelt message along with a video showing her fitness journey, including tough weight training, boxing, and running.

Amy showed off her weight loss in a purple workout outfit, happily posing for photos. She explained to her followers that she’s embracing the common advice of ‘eat less, move more,’ something she’s often heard used negatively in the past.

‘Teamed up with @chemist4u and @dj_fattony_ to flip that phrase into something empowering. 

She explained that the campaign aims to stop bullying, discourage unwanted advice, and support people who are using medication to lose weight.

Amy shared that she lost weight with the help of the Mounjaro injection, turning to it in June 2024 after feeling she’d tried everything else.

She recently shared with The Sun that she’s been able to fit into size 18 clothes again, something she hasn’t done since she was a teenager. She said it’s been surprising for her.

‘It’s changed my life. I get annoyed, though, that some people call it the “lazy way out”.

I want to make it clear that I haven’t been inactive when it comes to losing weight for the past 17 years. This approach is simply the only thing that’s worked for me so far.

Amy has been taking a 15mg weekly dose since February, which she worked her way up to from 2.5mg.

Amy looked stunning in a floral dress with a low neckline at a family wedding this July, showing off her recent weight loss.

At the time, she took to her Instagram Story with her wearing the same dress in green last year.

She penned: ‘What a difference a year can make! Same dress, different print and 3 sizes smaller.’

Amy shared in April that she had lost a significant 6 stone, and she was happy to show off her progress.
