As a devoted fan, I’m thrilled to delve into the intriguing world of Level Infinite’s Goddess of Victory: NIKKE, where the sci-fi RPG shooter genre reigns supreme. Once more, we’re graced with a collaboration, this time with the iconic franchise Evangelion. Following our first taste back in August last year, this partnership has always been one of the most anticipated updates. And true to form, on February 20, 2025, we’ve seen a wealth of new content unveiled. Let’s explore what awaits us!

New Characters join the roster with several reruns

In the latest addition, we’ve got two new characters joining our roster:

1. SSR Asuka Shikinami Langley from WILLE, a character known for her offensive prowess with her stacked Anti A.T. Field abilities, and
2. SSR Rei Ayanami, who excels in supporting MG allies by strengthening their ranks while simultaneously boosting attack power.

Moreover, SR Sakura Suzuhara joins as a defensive supporter character who also heals allies. You can secure her during the Limited-Time Recruitment process, while Sakura Suzuhara herself is obtainable at the SECOND QUEST collaboration event.

The partnership reintroduces SSR Asuka, SSR Rei, and SSR Mari for Temporary Recruitment. Asuka boosts piercing power and attack, Rei sets shields and strengthens attack might, while Mari amplifies the squad’s offensive potential with periodic Pierce enhancements. Since these characters are returning for a brief period, don’t forget to seize the opportunity to enlist their services.

Evangelion-themed costumes

fresh and previously owned costumes are now being offered, among them is the “Helm – Post-Shower Moment”, which can be found in the “Costume Randomizer”. The “Passion Canon Pass” provides exclusive outfits for characters such as Asuka Shikinami Langley: WILLE, Rei Ayanami, and Mari.

In the SECOND QUEST event, special missions reward unique outfits like “Final Battle: Asuka, Mari’s School Outfit, and a Rei Doppelganger costume from Village-3“. Previously offered costumes such as “Asuka’s Exam Suit and Cynical Streetwear” reappear in the store.

Evangelion Crossover Grand Event 2nd Quest

This special occasion introduces a fresh tale, in which enigmatic D-WAVE occurrences pose a danger to the ocean. Joining this event allows you to enlist SR Sakura Suzuhara and claim SR Misato in the Shop for the Event. Traverse the event map to gather Gems, development resources, and Lost Relics. Additionally, the Evangelion RedSea Scout mini-game makes its debut.

New Campaign Chapters and Lost Sectors

In these two new chapters, numbered 35 and 36, the story unfolds further with brand-new hurdles to overcome. The Tribe Tower and Manufacturer Towers have undergone expansions, resulting in a raised maximum level limit for the Outpost Defense gameplay. A fresh Harmony Cube has been introduced, along with additional Lost Sectors, providing ample opportunities for exciting exploration.

Other Events and rewards

During the weekend, special events known as “Peak Activity Days” offer extra rewards in both Interception and the Simulation Room. Meanwhile, participating in the Solo Expedition event gives you a shot at collecting Harmony Cube materials and climbing the rankings for special prizes. The Union Raid returns, allowing you and your alliance members to take on formidable bosses for Union Points.

Fresh character packages have been introduced in our marketplace, known as the Cash Shop. Additionally, you’ll find Mission Passes that offer charming costumes such as Biscuit’s Spring Puppy. The 14-day login event titled “QUEST OF THE RED WORLD” rewards Recruit Vouchers and materials for daily login. The return of the “YOU CAN (NOT) EVADE” story event features unique music and avatar frames.
