Goddess of Victory: NIKKE “Winter’s Carol” story update brings two new SSR Characters, Costumes, Events, and more

Okay, I’m SO excited! The new Winter’s Carol update just dropped in Goddess of Victory: NIKKE, and it’s packed with stuff! We’re getting two new SSR Nikkes, and some of our favorites are getting rerun banners. Plus, there are new costumes to collect, and a fully voiced story event – I can’t wait to dive into that! Basically, there’s a TON to do this season, and I’m here for it. Here’s a rundown of everything that’s coming!

Goddess of Victory: NIKKE ‘Winter’s Carol’ Event and Update Overview

New SSR Nikkes: Diesel and Brid

SSR Diesel, nicknamed ‘Winter Sweets,’ is a new Attacker character. She deals consistent damage, especially to groups of enemies, by repeatedly striking them with her Burst Skill. She’s equipped with the Candy Line rocket launcher, uses Fire-element attacks, and is a member of the Elysion faction.

She’ll be available to recruit through a limited-time event starting after maintenance on December 4th, 2025, and lasting until December 25th, 2025. You can use Gems or Advanced Recruit Vouchers to add her to your team.

SSR Supporter Silent is a powerful ally, especially against Wind Code enemies. Her Burst Skill significantly increases the attack power of your entire team, providing a big damage boost in battle. She’s equipped with the Silent Steam shotgun, uses Fire code, and hails from Elysion.

The promotion will be available from December 11th to December 31st, 2025. It will have the same eligibility requirements as the Diesel promotion and will be a limited-time offer.

New Costumes

Blanc has a new costume called Fortune Express, complete with voice lines, a special animation for her Burst Skill, a unique pose, and a cute SD motion. You can get it through the Costume Gacha. Bready is getting into the winter spirit with her Frosty Bite costume, which is available through the Frosty Bite Pass. Both outfits are limited-time, seasonal collectibles perfect for the winter season.

Limited SSR and Costume Reruns

This update reintroduces a few popular seasonal Nikkes. First up is SSR Maiden: Ice Rose, who will be available alongside Diesel until December 25, 2025. The SSR character Guillotine: Winter Slayer is also back.

For a limited time, some popular holiday costumes are back in the Cash Shop! You can once again purchase Emma’s Color Me Red costume, Vesti’s Ark Mage outfit, and Volume’s Beat the Gun costume. These costumes will be available until December 30, 2025.

New Events, Gameplay and Features

The biggest new addition is the fully voiced “Terminus Ticket” story event. Nora gets a special ticket from Soline and finally sets off on the AZX, hoping to reach the Surface. But things don’t go as planned when she arrives, and Diesel and Brid change course, heading for the Final Stop instead.

A new puzzle minigame called AZX Service Time is now available! You play by combining food items to reach a total of ten for each passenger’s order.

We’ve added some gameplay improvements! Now you can easily find and enjoy all story content – main chapters, events, side stories, and messages – with the new Scenario Story Line system. Plus, there’s a brand new Arcade game called Dragon Dungeon Run!
