People who love Goddess of Victory: Nikke and baseball, and managed to go to the Padres vs Dodgers game on June 10th at Petco Park, were in for a special surprise. The well-known streamer and cosplayer Emiru made an appearance, dressed as the beloved character Rapi. As tradition goes, she threw the opening pitch at Petco Park, all while advertising Nikke.

Indeed, this occurrence aligned perfectly with the baseball-themed update of the Goddess of Victory: Nikke, introducing fresh outfits for characters Noir and Blanc. This unique blend showcases an intriguing fusion of traditional sports and popular mobile game elements.

While there were doubtless many confused baseball fans who hadn’t even heard of Goddess of Victory: Nikke before, they doubtless left pleased, considering that attendees were also treated to giveaways of merchandise, including exclusive baseball cards and a themed t-shirt. Fans could also attend meet-and-greets with cosplayers to get to meet their favourite characters face to face.

The team responsible for Nikke is making another attempt to bring their popular gacha shooter game into the hands of fans. For instance, the upcoming collaboration with Stellar Blade (scheduled to launch as of this writing) aligns with an appearance at Anime Expo 2025!
