I’m so excited! Metaroot just announced their new game, Goblin Sushi! It’s a roguelike restaurant simulator where you play as a goblin sushi chef. The Early Access version is coming out on February 9th for Android, iOS, and PC. The game is made by Old Cake Factory, a cool indie studio, and they already had a demo, so I know it’s going to be awesome!

Goblin Sushi is a quirky game that mixes the unpredictable fun of roguelikes with the challenge of running a restaurant. You play as a goblin chef, crafting sushi for your goblin customers. You’ll use unusual ingredients found in goblin caves – think caterpillars, slugs, and even chicken heads! It’s definitely a strange concept, but that’s what makes it so appealing.

Goblin Sushi will be available in Early Access starting February 9th! We’ve been working hard on it, incorporating your feedback from the demo and addressing a few… kitchen mishaps. We’re excited to finally share it with you! 🎉 Check it out:

I was immediately drawn in by the game’s look and feel, although some of the food designs are a bit unappetizing, to be honest. The customers are also really chaotic – you’ll deal with all sorts of demanding and impatient goblins, including Granny Goblins, Trash Goblins, Ghost Goblins, and even Poop Goblins!

You need to juggle rising rent while upgrading your sushi restaurant

The biggest problem isn’t actually making the sushi; it’s staying in business when your rent is constantly increasing. To survive, you’ll need to improve your restaurant, offer more menu options, and increase your profits with things like sushi sets and a faster rice cooker.

The game is shaping up to be a lot of fun! It’s fast-paced and chaotic, has a surprising variety of sushi, and even features rising rent costs. Plus, the graphics are really eye-catching. I’m really hoping it’s released worldwide soon – I can’t wait to play as a goblin chef and serve… unusual sushi!
