GMB’s Susanna Reid insists “I don’t want a hug” as she reunites with Piers Morgan live on air

During the reunion of ‘Good Morning Britain’, things got a tad uncomfortable as former panelist Piers Morgan requested a hug from his co-host Susanna Reid.

I had the pleasure of being invited on a popular morning program to delve into the latest encounter between U.S. President Donald Trump and Ukraine’s President Volodymyr Zelenskyy. What a fascinating topic!

Previously, during their discussion about global politics, Morgan (formerly of GMB until 2021) mentioned that it had been some time since his last appearance on the show.

Hey guys, it seems like you didn’t notice I’ve been away for over four years now, right?

After that, Morgan requested a hug from Reid, who responded, “Not now, are you serious? Absolutely not, I don’t fancy a hug.

As Reid kept objecting, I still stepped in for a warm embrace with Morgan. Then, Balls extended his arms too, and we found ourselves locked in a lengthy hug, while Reid chuckled comfortably from the couch.

In a playful manner, Morgan said to Reid, “Boy, you sure jumped ahead quickly!” To which Reid humorously responded, “Well, I’ve picked up a few new spouses lately.

A short while later, Ball indicated that Reid is not particularly comfortable with unexpected physical affection, stating that he doesn’t receive hugs from her either.

“No, I don’t do hugs, as you know,” she replied.

Between the years 2015 and 2021, Reid and Morgan teamed up to host “Good Morning Britain.” However, in March 2021, Morgan left the show after facing intense criticism for his comments about an interview conducted by Oprah Winfrey with Meghan Markle and Prince Harry, which resulted in a significant public outcry.

Since 2022, Morgan has been the host of “Piers Morgan Uncensored,” a talk show that initially aired on TalkTV in the United Kingdom but is currently available on YouTube.
