Vladislav Vasilev has just released their new, intense tactical action game, Glory Ages – Vikings, for iOS devices. The game is made by the team behind Glory Ages Samurais, and they’ve announced that an Android version will be available shortly.
Pick up your sword and battle enemies in brutal Norse era
If you enjoyed games like Ghost of Tsushima, you’ll likely have fun with Glory Ages – Vikings. It features similar combat, and puts you in the brutal world of the Vikings, where winning battles requires both skillful timing and smart strategy.
The game focuses on skillful combat, letting you parry, dodge, and counter-attack with precise timing – it’s more than just button-mashing. You can also combine attacks and use special abilities to overcome enemy defenses. I’ve seen gameplay, and it looks fantastic, though it doesn’t perfectly replicate the combat systems of games like Dark Souls or Game of Thrones.
You can unlock new techniques, use authentic weapons, and fight across detailed locations
I was impressed by the enemy AI – each one has a unique fighting style, with some being very aggressive and others playing it safe. Luckily, you can learn new skills and improve your character’s abilities to overcome these challenges and win.
I’m really excited about this game! It looks fun and engaging with its challenging combat, beautiful and detailed environments, and realistic weather effects. I also love the historically accurate armor and weapons, and the game offers a lot of depth in terms of character progression. To top it off, the music creates a great atmosphere, and you can play the entire game without an internet connection.
Glory Ages – Vikings is now available to download on iOS through the App Store. The developers have confirmed on Reddit that an Android version is coming soon, so keep an eye out for updates!
