GloRilla is arrested for felony drug possession in Georgia… a year after her DUI

Rapper Glorilla was arrested in Georgia earlier this week for drug possession.

25-year-old musician, originally from Memphis, was arrested in Forsyth County and charged with two offenses: having an illegal controlled substance and possessing more than an ounce of marijuana.

As reported by TMZ, the creator of the popular TGIF series, who had been linked romantically to an NFL player in June, was freed on bail amounting to $22,000 on the very same day.

Both counts are felony offenses under Georgia law.

The outlet noted that other details around the arrest are unknown at this time.

Approximately a year has passed since the actress, whose real name is Gloria Woods, was taken into custody in Gwinnett County, Georgia, for driving under the influence (DUI).

In the thick of things, I found myself caught up in the whirlwind of news that my beloved entertainer was apprehended in Suwanee, Georgia, on allegations of driving while intoxicated and having an unsealed container of alcoholic beverages with me.

At 4:00 a.m. Eastern Time, she was stopped by the authorities because they observed a car performing a U-turn against a red traffic signal, as reported by the police. Additionally, she was cited for a different traffic violation, according to the police.

The artist from Yeah Glo! informed the police that she consumed alcoholic beverages during the evening. In their official documentation, they pointed out that her car was emitting a scent of both alcohol and marijuana.

GloRilla performed poorly on a field sobriety test officers conducted with her, authorities said.

Law enforcement officials reported that GloRilla, who has connections to basketball player Damian Lillard, had difficulties maintaining focus on a target with her eyes, walking in a steady manner, and balancing on just one leg.

As a devoted fan, I found myself in a situation where the enigmatic F.N.F. (Let’s Go) artist respectfully refused to submit to a breathalyzer test when approached by law enforcement officials. Consequently, I was detained under their supervision.

GloRilla had an associate retrieve her vehicle from the scene, authorities said.

At the beginning of this year, she embarked on a journey from March to April for her “Glorious Tour,” covering locations from one coast to another.

Previously, the well-known soccer player Xavier Legette made an appearance in a provocative music video for his song Typa, which fueled speculations about their romantic relationship.

2023 saw GloRilla grabbing attention following a tragic incident at her March 5th concert held at the Rochester Main Street Armory in Rochester, New York. Regrettably, three individuals lost their lives during a stampede that occurred on that day.

She expressed deep sorrow and sadness on social media, lamenting the fatalities that occurred following the performance on Sunday.

‘My fans mean the world to me.

‘Praying for their families & for a speedy recovery of everyone affected,’ she added.
