Glen Powell’s transformation for new TV project revealed in set picture

As a fan who vividly remembers the 80s charm and the magnetic screen presence of Glen Powell from his roles in Twisters and Top Gun: Maverick, I must say it’s quite thrilling to witness this versatile actor reinvent himself yet again. The transformation he undergoes for Chad Powers is nothing short of remarkable – the beefy physique, the surfer hairstyle, the prosthetic nose; one can hardly recognize him!

Actor Glen Powell, known for roles in “Twisters” and “Top Gun: Maverick”, is sporting a fresh look while working on his latest television production.

At present, the star is diligently engaged in creating humor for the Hulu series titled “Chad Powers“. This comedy revolves around an American football player from college who was dismissed from his team due to misconduct. Eager for a second chance, he assumes a disguise and joins a struggling team under the alias Chad Powers.

In a new appearance, Powell is noticeably muscular and has a subtle sun-kissed glow, sporting a hairstyle reminiscent of a blonde surfer, complete with a trim mustache and a prosthetic nose that initially makes one question if it’s actually him.

In the UK, we don’t have access to Hulu, which is owned by Disney. Although some of its series like “The Bear” and “Abbot Elementary” eventually appear on Disney+, not all shows are available there. For instance, “The Handmaid’s Tale” can be found on Amazon Prime Video, while “The Great” airs on Channel 4.

As soon as we know where Chad Powers will be airing in the UK, we’ll be sure to let you know.

Currently, Glen Powell is working on reviving the 1980s atmosphere through Edgar Wright’s film adaptation of Stephen King’s novel, “The Running Man”. This story was previously brought to the big screen as a movie starring Arnold Schwarzenegger in 1987.

In a recent interview, he said he’s been doing a lot of sprinting in preparation for the role, and is eager to get started, stating: “Edgar Wright has been one of my favourite filmmakers for as long as I can remember. I think since Shaun of the Dead, I was like, ‘I can’t wait to work with this guy’.”

He’s also been attached to a remake of the comedy Heaven Can Wait, originally from 1978.

Twisters is still in cinemas now, while US fans can buy or rent it digitally from various outlets.
