As a lifestyle expert with decades of experience under my belt, I must say that the Glamour Women of The Year Awards 2024 was nothing short of inspiring and awe-inspiring. The event was a grand celebration of women who are making a significant impact in various fields, from music to television, film, and sport.

2024’s Glamour Women of the Year Awards celebrated numerous well-known personalities at an elegant event held at Raffles, London, on a Tuesday evening.

38-year-old Jodie Turner-Smith was honored as the Trailblazer recipient in an event, with her close friend and acting peer Naomie Harris, aged 48, presenting the award to her.

The star-studded evening also saw Bridgerton’s Simone Ashley, 29, names as Game Changing Actor, following in the footsteps of last years Oscar Winning Adriana DeBose.

Simone shined brilliantly while making her grand entrance on stage, clad in a striking yellow dress, to receive the trophy from her fellow actress Nicola Coughlan who is 37 years old.

Each year, the prestigious GLAMOUR Women of the Year Awards honor notable figures from the realms of music, television, cinema, and sports. These awards aim to acknowledge some of the most influential women.

The occasion, backed by Samsung and the latest Galaxy Ring, acknowledges pioneering activists and trailblazers who are spearheading efforts towards gender equality.

Past winners have included Kim Cattrall, Naomi Campbell and Victoria Beckham.

For the fourth consecutive year, accomplished comedian Katherine Ryan is back to preside over the event in west London – yet another time.

Deborah Joseph, GLAMOUR’s European Editorial Director, commented on the event: ‘The year 2024 has been a mix of significant achievements and challenges for women worldwide. Many remarkable activists have stood up to those in power, while there are also troubling signs of setbacks in women’s rights.’

‘While we still have so much to fight for, it’s even more important to champion the gamechangers, advocates, and feminist icons who are making the world a better place for women.

‘I can’t wait to toast them all at our annual GLAMOUR Women of the Year awards.’
