She explained simply that she prefers dating younger men because they’re more lighthearted, haven’t accumulated as much emotional weight, and respect her independence. She generally finds them to be a better fit for her.

Lately, her relationships with younger men have allowed her to travel the world, attending events like Fifty Shades of Grey parties, enjoying luxury yachts, and dining at top-rated restaurants.

‘Keeping up with someone younger keeps me young,’ she laughed.

Maria also shared the secrets behind her famously youthful appearance.

You know, I’m a big believer in finding movement that fits your life, not breaking the bank. I skip those expensive fitness classes and honestly? I just walk everywhere I can. It’s amazing for boosting my metabolism and keeping me feeling great – it’s a simple habit with huge benefits!

This involves my daily commute on foot – about an hour each way – and longer weekend walks where I listen to podcasts.

She actively avoids stress, believing it speeds up the aging process, and feels that having a secure, low-pressure job is key to a long life.

Oh, and annual trips to Paris.

Maria previously dated Matt Suleau, a host for Fox Sports and Sky News Australia. He’s known for his good looks and glamorous lifestyle – often enjoying fast cars and upscale dining – which has led people to call him ‘Mr. Perfect’.

Matt is currently dating Sharz Shabani Pour, a publicist in the hospitality industry. At 41, Sharz is younger than some of Matt’s past partners, including Maria and Simone Elliott, a star on The Real Housewives of Melbourne.
