Actress Jet, known for her role in Gladiators, has spoken candidly about the persistent jealous arguments that led to her unexpected separation from her partner.

As a lifestyle aficionado, I’m sharing some intriguing news that surfaced this week: the ’90s icon, now 54 (originally known as Diane Youdale), parted ways with her spouse Zoe Gilbert after an 18-month relationship and a year of marriage.

In July 2023, they got married at an intimate ceremony, having first crossed paths in a supermarket.

In a recent conversation, Diane shared the sequence of events that ultimately resulted in the dissolution of her marriage. She explained how, amidst the disputes, she felt as though she had lost her own identity, accusing her former spouse of being insecure regarding her past relationships.

In her conversation with The Sun, she expressed, “I found myself taking a more passive role; typically, I’m self-reliant, driven, and enjoy activities such as walking. However, during this period, I stopped engaging in those activities. She would often ask about Sonia and Lisa, who are former associates, both professionally and personally.

In response, you might say: “I made an effort to avoid judging your past, and I didn’t want to appear insecure about it. However, our conversation seemed relentless, and I found myself losing my identity rather swiftly. Regrettably, this behavior may have recurred in some of my past relationships.

During her wedding, the previous TV celebrity expressed that she instinctively felt Zoe was the right person for her. This was after they consistently shared laughter and she confessed, “I believe you can sense if you wish to be with someone.

Jet’s romantic involvement with Zoe marked the first publicly acknowledged relationship for her as an openly gay woman, which began shortly after their mutual commitment.

She was the Gladiators’ standout star during the programme’s first four seasons from 1992-1995. 

According to a reliable source, Diane and Zoe have come to terms with the fact that their relationship won’t work out. Recognizing there was no further prospect, they chose to terminate their partnership.

‘It’s sad, especially as they were only married for a year, but they just weren’t getting on.

After giving it some thought, it seems they might have acted hastily when making their commitment official, but there are no regrets or any bad vibes between them.

A neighbour close to Zoe told TopMob on Friday that Jet hasn’t been at the property for months. 

It’s unfortunate that their relationship didn’t last long, as Diane hasn’t resided here for a considerable period.

Zoe, a teacher in the corrections system, recently updated her Facebook status to reflect that she is currently single.

In the summer of 2023, Zoe and Jet, who first met by chance at a supermarket, exchanged vows in a small, intimate ceremony attended by only nine loved ones.

They planned to continue their private wedding celebrations by taking a short honeymoon in Northumbria and traveling across the country to share their good news with friends who couldn’t be at the wedding.
