Gladiators star Fury reveals her ‘hero’ father has died suddenly aged 56 after a suspected heart attack while mountain climbing

The father of reality TV star Fury sadly passed away on Sunday after collapsing while hiking in the Yorkshire Three Peaks.

Phil Ounsley, a 56-year-old mixed martial arts expert, is believed to have had a heart attack while hiking Pen-y-Ghent, a mountain he—known as Jodie Ounsley on TV—had climbed many times.

It’s incredibly sad to share that, according to The Sun, paramedics did everything they could to save Phil while rushing to airlift him from a 2,277-foot mountain. Sadly, despite their best efforts, the rescue came too late.

Jodie shared the sad news on Instagram, saying she was devastated by the sudden passing of her father. He died while enjoying one of his favorite activities – hiking Pen-y-Ghent.

He’d climbed that mountain so many times, but no one imagined this would be the day he didn’t return. I’m just… speechless.

He was, and always will be, my hero. He inspired me to reach for my dreams and loved me unconditionally, and I’ll always cherish that. I’ll miss you until we meet again, Dad.

According to a source, Phil was in good health, making his sudden death a complete shock to everyone who knew him.

He was a truly kind and generous person who dedicated a lot of time to helping those in need. He also consistently challenged himself physically and went above and beyond to support others.

Given how Phil lived his life, you’d never think he’d be involved in something like this.

His wife, Jo, daughter Jodie, and son Jack, along with the entire family, are understandably heartbroken by the news.
