Gladiators’ Jet Spotted After Admitting Attack on Ex-Wife
Actress Jet from the show “Gladiators” was snapped with an upbeat demeanor while making her way to a business appointment in Newcastle.
For the first time since Diane Youdale, previously known as the star, confessed in an interview with TopMob in February that she had assaulted her ex-wife Zoe Gilbert due to feeling bullied, there has been a sighting of her.
55-year-old Diane, well-known for playing Jet on Gladiators during its initial four seasons (1992-1995), flashed a smile upon her arrival at Nerd Fest held at Gateshead Stadium. She warmly greeted old friends and graciously posed for photographs with enthusiastic fans throughout the day.
Actress Jet, who played a role in Gladiator, appears cheerful in recent photos, marking her first public appearance since confessing to attacking her former spouse amidst their tumultuous relationship.
Referencing her past as a Gladiator, the fitness instructor donned leggings and a white sweater, sporting a green backpack.
Or,
Acknowledging her Gladiator days of yore, the lifestyle coach opted for leggings and a white top, toting a green backpack.
Both versions maintain the original meaning but offer alternative ways to phrase it in a natural and easy-to-read manner.
In February, Jet publicly discussed her brief marriage to teacher Zoe, whom she married at a private ceremony in July 2023, as Diane had proposed only four months into their relationship.
As a lifestyle connoisseur, I can share that my own romantic journey took an exciting turn when I found myself developing feelings for Zoe – my first public relationship with a woman. Reminiscing on our serendipitous encounter in a local marketplace, I vividly recall the moment I felt an undeniable connection, realizing she was indeed the one for me just days after our initial meeting.

However, in a conversation with TopMob back in February of the nineties, the former pin-up girl confessed that she had lost her temper during an occurrence in 2023, stating that this happened after she felt herself being driven beyond her limits.
In an intense argument, the ex-TV personality claims their relationship peaked when Diane performed three quick presses on Zoe’s chest, following Zoe’s fall from the back of a couch.
The police visited their joint residence in the Northeast, had a conversation with Diane, but didn’t make an arrest. This incident ultimately led to the breakup of the newlywed couple a few weeks later following a small wedding ceremony.
Diane also accuses teacher Zoe, 50, of turning her own family against her.
She still maintains that their encounter at Tesco, the supermarket where they initially met, was not coincidental but rather a deliberately planned action by Zoe.
In simpler terms, Diane, who is both a counselor and an exercise coach, explained how she felt suicidal when her marriage broke down. She mentioned, ‘She never truly loved me… I was deceived.’
This version uses everyday language and seeks to convey the same meaning as your original sentence while being more accessible to readers.
In my own words, I express: “I found myself in a trap, feeling tricked, similar to being pursued by a cunning predator such as a wolf. I must admit, I was manipulated, and now it seems she’s capitalizing on this situation for her own gain in fame.
‘I am sickened to the core by her allegations. She wants to bring me down and dance on my grave.’
Describing how their relationship turned violent, Diane said: ‘Eventually, I snapped.
She tumbled backwards off the couch. In response, I applied pressure to her chest thrice firmly, and urged, “halt this immediately.” Unfortunately, I don’t recall the events that transpired subsequently. The following instant, I found myself being guided out by the police officers.

“The living room was in a state of disarray, with coffee splattered on the walls and writing scribbled everywhere. She alleges that I caused this chaos, but I can’t recall doing so. It seems I must have experienced some form of temporary memory loss to forget such a mess.
In 2023, an event transpired at Zoe’s residence, a place where Diane had been residing, up until the two ended their romantic involvement.
She claims the nature of their romance made her feel so low that she contemplated ending her life.
TopMob has contacted Zoe Gilbert for comment.
Diane went on to say: “I was at a point where I contemplated taking my own life. It became strikingly obvious that she was trying to frame me as the villain out of nowhere. The photos she took of her wounds, however, were not caused by anything I did.
She asserted that I carried her up the stairs and then dropped her, but in reality, I suffer from a ruptured disc.
Or, more casually:
She swore I hurled her down the stairs, but it’s actually my damaged back causing me issues.
In anger, I’d only touch someone if they were harming a child, an animal, or if it was necessary for self-defense – but I must clarify that I was never in such a situation with her. This was our ultimate parting point.

Diane has always led a very health-conscious lifestyle, a factor that contributed significantly to her success when she was a gladiator on the TV show, which returned to air on BBC One last year, originally broadcast in the 90s.
Known for her distinctive head-tilt and striking beauty, she captured the hearts of viewers, regardless of gender.
However, she acknowledges acquiring risky behaviors while with Zoe, such as becoming dependent on alcohol.
She asserts that they frequently consumed alcohol each evening, and quarrels often broke out approximately at the same hour, typically ignited by Zoe’s worries about her former partners or professional associates.
Diane expressed that she would plead with Zoe to cease, as she was eagerly longing to break free from the harmful pattern of actions.
She explained: ‘Zoe was mainly getting at me about any past relationships I had with women.
‘I had been married in another lifetime very happily, very settled, very calmly and amicably.
‘It wasn’t my first rodeo, and I am good at long-term, settled and normal relationships.

My approach in relationships is what I typically follow, but Zoe hasn’t had the chance to do so without it turning into a dramatic situation. At night, she seemed to intentionally stir up drama.
Typically around 9-9:30 PM, the same record would play, prompting me to remark, “Zoe, this is becoming quite repetitive. Could you please stop it?” (In simpler terms) At about 9 PM, I’d often hear the same song repeatedly. So, I’d say something like, “Hey Zoe, this tune keeps playing, can we switch it up a bit?
She claimed I was having affairs with every one of my clients and friends, which is just unbelievable! She’s always struggled to understand me and rarely acknowledged any victories or achievements in my journey.
Diane asserted that Zoe managed to alienate her own family from her, further explaining the pain she felt as they sided with Zoe’s partner during their dispute, causing her distress over her loved ones’ loyalty shift.
She mentioned that she could name each person in the crowd surrounding her, as the recent events have been quite distressing.
It’s been surprising to me that my family hasn’t shown any interest in what happened or my perspective, not even once. I feel disappointed by their lack of support and concern.
‘Zoe is a professional victim. She is quite a small person and plays on “I’m only little.'”

A few days after Diane conversed with TopMob, teacher Zoe finally spoke up, revealing a string of shocking allegations about Diane. According to Zoe, the marriage was a constant nightmare that quickly escalated into violence when the gameshow personality would often assault her while intoxicated, shoving her down stairs and slamming doors in her face. In a chilling warning, she said: “I will tear you apart limb by limb.
The abuse, she says, was so vile she was routinely called names like ‘fat little c*** of a dwarf’.
In response to the allegations, Diane assertively states that they are unfounded. She clarifies that she is a non-drinker (teetotal) and has a health condition that makes it impossible for her to be physically aggressive due to her frailty. Furthermore, she accuses her ex-wife Zoe of often being intoxicated and fabricating her accusations.
To back up her account, Zoe snapped photos of the injuries and subsequently shared them with TopMob.
Zoe stated: ‘Diane repeatedly attacked me, yet she remains robust and athletic. By the time our marriage terminated, I was petrified of her.’
When she displayed her photos to her shocked family, they worried that, standing at just 4 ft 9 in, Zoe could potentially face danger if she didn’t break off the relationship.
Back in 2024, I, a die-hard fan, couldn’t believe my eyes when the beloved duo parted ways in February. The news hit us like a storm, and it was only seven short months later, in July, that they made it official – their divorce. It all started with that fateful encounter at the supermarket, a mere 12 months earlier. Oh, what a rollercoaster ride it’s been!
