Gladiator 2 is now available to watch at home

As someone who has been a die-hard fan of the original Gladiator since its release in 1992 (yes, I was there for the cinematic premiere), I must say that the anticipation for Gladiator 2 has been nothing short of exhilarating. The thought of stepping back into the world of Maximus and witnessing his continued journey is almost too much to bear!

You can now enjoy the release of “Gladiator 2” at home before Christmas, as it has already earned over $405 million globally at the box office.

In the U.S., Paramount made available digitally, approximately a month after its initial cinema premiere, the sequel directed by Ridley Scott.

If you’re in the US, you can buy or rent Gladiator 2 right now from Prime Video, iTunes and more.

As a gaming enthusiast eagerly waiting for my next cinematic battle, I can tell you that Gladiator 2 is still not available to stream at home in the UK. Regrettably, Paramount Pictures hasn’t announced an official digital release date yet. However, given their past patterns with similar titles, it might be reasonable to expect its arrival around mid-January 2025. Fingers crossed for a swift victory!

As you’re waiting, consider reserving the upcoming sequel on Amazon Prime Video and iTunes. This way, you’ll be able to stream it right away once it becomes available for digital release in the UK.

It’s still out in cinemas if you want to see Gladiator 2 this festive season.

You can now pre-order “Gladiator 2” on DVD, Blu-ray, and 4K Ultra HD before its launch in the UK. Additionally, there’s an option for a 4K Steelbook that will become available on the same day.

In the UK, the physical version of the sequel’s release date is still undisclosed by Paramount, similar to their approach with the digital version.

Prior to its premiere, Paul Mescal shared with Digital Spy his reasons for deciding against re-watching the original film before shooting for “Gladiator 2”.

He mentioned that if he had attempted to play something similar to Maximus, it wouldn’t have held his interest.

I prefer not to work on a movie that doesn’t ignite my enthusiasm and motivation to show up each day.

The sequel to “Gladiator” has hit the big screens in theaters, and you can also purchase or rent it on Amazon Prime Video, iTunes, and various other platforms within the United States.
