He demonstrated a method for preparing honey-glazed cod with lemon and garlic, a dish suitable for Valentine’s Day, to his followers, as indicated by the text of the caption.

In a playful scene, he was captured fiddling with some newly squeezed lemons, mimicking the action of taking a puff while cleaning his counter. To add a touch of humor, he incorporated a video snippet of his adorable dachshund jogging on a treadmill.

But, otherwise, the Italian’s ‘cheeky chappy’ persona was nowhere to be seen.

According to what I’ve been informed, this signals the start of a strong comeback by the 48-year-old after facing numerous accusations of sexually inappropriate and threatening conduct.

Following the termination of his partnership with ITV, who had aired his programs for over a decade, he now intends to communicate personally with his fans. Moreover, it appears that he has no intention of remaining silent for an extended period. A close associate shares that he stubbornly refuses to succumb to being silenced or cancelled.

Indeed, the scandal has left D’Acampo fuming, leading him to engage a prominent crisis management team in London, with the aim of restoring his professional standing and sharing his perspective on the events.

Revelations that begin, perhaps, with his former co-star and fellow cook, Gordon Ramsay.

During their extended journey on the Road Trip program alongside French host Fred Sirieix, the duo had a strong bond of friendship. However, Chris D’Amico decided to leave the show in 2023 because of issues related to contract terms.

However, in more recent times, it’s been shared that Ramsay expressed worries regarding D’Acampo’s conduct on set, which may have led to his exit following four seasons.

This incident enraged D’Acampo profoundly, according to his friends, who assert that he has been subjected to a malicious gossiping scheme masterminded by Ramsay, aged 58, along with Ramsay’s production company, who were responsible for the show.

According to a source familiar with the situation, it seems that someone from a specific studio has provided a quick update to D’Acampo.

There’s been quite a bit of information emerging regarding his association with Gordon Ramsay, and it appears quite unfavorable towards Gino. At one point, they seemed to be working in harmony and were good friends. However, following his departure from the Road Trip series, their relationship seems to have deteriorated significantly within just a couple of years.

But it is not just Ramsay whom D’Acampo feels betrayed by.

It’s been suggested that it was ITV, the television network known for making him a household name through shows like This Morning and Family Fortunes, who nurtured his playful, flirtatious persona that won over audiences.

According to a buddy, Gino acted in a mischievous way. However, this behavior is hard for him to justify, and he plans to express his thoughts on the matter when he deems it appropriate.

He often made witty remarks during his appearances on Family Feud, a fact that endeared him to both the show’s crew and its audience. On another note, there have been playful moments captured by cameras during his time on This Morning, like the time he playfully kissed co-presenter Ruth [Langsford] in 2011. These instances were well received not only by ITV viewers but also by the network itself.

Indeed, it appears he’s quite resentful. One might ponder if ITV benefited significantly from these events, and yet they seem to be distancing themselves from the situation by letting him go.

It’s stated as additional information that the financial reward could be the reason behind the network, embroiled in a scandal concerning Philip Schofield’s relationship with a younger coworker only two years ago, supporting D’Acampo for such an extended period.

A different acquaintance of the three-time father notes: ‘It seems like ITV didn’t fully anticipate how they wanted him portrayed – and it turned out to be problematic for them instead.’

Without a doubt, his career has experienced a significant decline since its peak. Originally popular and charming, he rose to fame on ITV following his debut on This Morning back in 2009.

however, ITV News recently uncovered accounts from many individuals who, over a span of more than 13 years, characterized his behavior as troubling, inappropriate, and in some cases, appalling.

It is said that the production company persisted in collaborating with D’Acampo on additional television ventures despite multiple reports of his behavior from employees.

In 2011, during a photoshoot, an individual identified as Hannah asserted that he casually mentioned wanting to flip her over and have sex with her anally on the kitchen counter, all while the entire crew was present. She remembered a wave of chuckles from the group, with some team members looking uneasy and seemingly taking sips from their tea cups.

As a concerned bystander, I must confess that the recent event filled me with both dread and astonishment, yet I find myself unsurprised at the lack of intervention.

Initially, back in March 2023, I brought attention to the issue when I shared concerns with ITV regarding accusations that D’Acampo had inappropriately made advances towards a female producer by thrusting his pelvis at her and inquired about another woman’s personal life during the filming of Road Trip.

Additionally, it was claimed that he frequently exposed himself and was challenging to collaborate with, leading multiple colleagues to lodge complaints with ITV.

In December of the previous year, it was revealed to me that the heads of the channel had called a meeting with D’Acampo’s manager at the time to address his conduct.

However, the network had been collaborating with him until just recently, when they terminated a set of Family Fortunes programs following the accusations. In response, a representative from the broadcaster declared: ‘All the issues and grievances reported to ITN [ITV News producer] detail conduct that is unsuitable and intolerable.’

The majority of those matters weren’t brought to ITV’s attention initially. However, when concerns have been brought up to ITV, appropriate actions have been implemented.

Since 2002, D’Acampo has been married to Jessica Stellina Morrison, and he has strongly refuted all the accusations that have been made against him.

In a statement, he expressed that such actions are ‘extremely troubling’ to him and emphasized that he always strives to avoid any behavior that might cause hurt or discomfort to others, as acting in such a manner goes against his fundamental character.

Although many may not show compassion towards D’Acampo, it’s worth mentioning that no official police complaints have been filed against him.

According to him, nothing illegal appears to have occurred, but he’s being dealt with as if he had committed a crime.

Gino strongly maintains that his actions were not severe, mostly consisting of harmless antics common within the TV business. He’s eager to resume his career.

It’s possible, but I have concerns that mere fish recipes won’t be enough to impress his followers, or the television producers.
