Gino D’Acampo’s 22-Year Marriage: Love, Prison, and Allegations

Gino D’Acampo is facing renewed accusations of sexually inappropriate conduct and bullying, yet another time.

In an alleged incident, the Italian TV chef was reportedly caught stepping out wearing just his boxer shorts, and made humorous remarks concerning his physique, following new accusations stemming from an explosive investigation conducted by ITV News.

In a less public arena, Gino is being backed by his wife of 22 years, Jessica Stellina Morrison – a woman who has been his English-Italian sweetheart since he was 19 years old and with whom he moved to the UK for.

In the year 2002, Gino and Jessica got married, having first crossed paths five years prior at Sylvester Stallone’s Mambo King eatery in Marbella. At that time, Gino was a chef, while Jessica served as a waitress there.

The duo has kids named Luciano (age 22), Rocco (19), and Mia (12). After 31 years of being together, their love remains everlasting.

Last month, Gino posted affectionate photos on Instagram from their ski vacation, where he was celebrating his wife’s birthday.

He wrote: ‘Thirty-one years side by side, still grinning as if it were our first date… happy birthday my love… GDx.’

Even though they cherish spending good times together, Gino acknowledges that he and Jessica lead separate lives too, frequently spending extended stretches apart during their leisure hours.

He mentioned that he meticulously schedules his time off work to ensure solitude, which he believes contributes to the strength of his marriage with Jessica, who is thought to primarily take care of their home.

For the upcoming month, I’ll only have brief weekly conversations with my wife, lasting approximately 20 minutes each. Upon my return, we’ll have a more detailed discussion about everything.

As a lifestyle expert, I often find myself puzzled when eavesdropping on my friends’ lengthy phone conversations with their partners. While I value these connections deeply, I prefer to maintain brief and succinct chats with my partner, Jessica.

Additionally, he confessed that he enjoys dining and socializing with other females during his individual vacations.

Following their initial encounter during their teenage years, Jessica and Gino went separate ways for about a year. However, when they reconnected, the chef found that Jessica was the one he couldn’t live without, leading them to relocate to the United Kingdom as a couple.

In 2002, the couple got married following Gino’s discharge from prison, where he had been held since his arrest for burglarizing Paul Young’s house in 1998.

While serving time in prison, it was thought that the couple momentarily parted ways. However, once Gino regained freedom, he made a fresh start in life.

He shared his TV story: ‘Prison was an awful ordeal, but in life, I’ve learned to find positivity even in adversity. Instead of letting it bring me down, I decided it would shape me into a stronger individual. So, after my release from prison, I had a clear vision and was driven to establish a business specializing in importing Italian ingredients.’

In May 2023, Jessica celebrated the pair’s 22-year wedding anniversary by sharing a lovely set of photos.

She wrote: ‘Together for 28 years, married for 22 years, three wonderful kids, countless moments of joy – thank you for making my life extraordinary. Happy Anniversary, my love. Always Yours.’

In the year 2021, Gino took his wife by surprise when he revealed that they would be renewing their marriage vows to celebrate their 20th wedding anniversary.

On an episode of his program “Gino’s Italian Family Adventure,” the TV cook brought Jessica to Puglia for a charming retreat, and later prepared a unique meal for her as a token of affection.

Clad in a white shirt and a bowtie, Gino broke the news to Jessica as they savored their dinner in a picturesque environment.

Jessica, sporting a dazzling sequin jumpsuit, appeared taken aback when Gino started to elucidate the situation and gestured towards a waitress, stating with emphasis: “So, the Bella isn’t actually a waitstaff member; she’s going to officiate our wedding again.

Jessica questioned, “Are you being sincere?”, just as Gino passed her a bouquet of flowers and said, “Indeed, these are for you.

After that, Gino unveiled a tablet screen showing their kids during a video chat, and Mia expressed, “Mum, you’re so beautiful! If only I could be there with you!

Following the new accusations about sexually inappropriate and intimidating conduct, Gino is now dealing with these issues.

Under the alias “Natalie,” a woman shared an unnerving incident as she was preparing D’Acampo for a filming location.

‘He opened the door in his boxer shorts, nothing else,’ she claimed. 

Subsequently, he leaped onto the bed, raised a leg, and made an inappropriate comment regarding his personal area, humorously discussing its dimensions.

Natalie expressed her strong displeasure, stating that the TV chef had misused his authority by acting improperly.

According to D’Acampo’s legal team, they firmly deny the claims regarding the incidents at “Gino’s Italian Express,” as they are not aware of any accusations being made against him in this context.

It’s only now, after a span of six years, that he has learned about these supposed events. He firmly rejects these claims.

Renowned for his playful screen character, D’Acampo has found himself in a challenging position due to accusations made by numerous individuals over the last 12 years. They label his alleged behavior as “upsetting,” “inappropriate,” and in some cases, “abhorrent.

As a diligent follower reporting, it has come to light that at least one media production firm was privy to recurring concerns about D’Acampo’s conduct expressed by their staff members. Remarkably, they chose to persist in collaborating with him for additional television ventures despite these apprehensions.

In 2011, a woman referred to as Hannah narrated an unsettling incident that occurred during a photo session for a magazine.

She asserted that, with a full crew present, D’Acampo allegedly made a crude sexual remark, stating something along the lines of, “I’d enjoy turning you around and intimately engaging with you on the kitchen counter.” This left her feeling embarrassed and humiliated.

She reminisced about the gentle tittering of laughter, as meanwhile, others seemed uneasy, peering tentatively into their teacups.

She brought back memories of soft chuckles of laughter, while others glanced apprehensively into their cups of tea.

Hannah confessed that the event left her both terrified and stunned, yet she wasn’t taken aback that nobody stepped in.

D’Acampo has firmly denied all allegations, calling them ‘deeply upsetting.’ 

His legal representatives stated, “This claim, dating back nearly 15 years, was neither previously brought up nor addressed with Mr. D’Acampo. He cannot remember it and denies its occurrence.
