Gino D’Acampo kicks off ‘apology tour’ with bizarre social media blitz as he hugs and kisses female employees in a ‘bid to be uncancelled’ after ITV axe following accusations of inappropriate behaviour towards women
Gino D’Acampo began what seems to be a series of apologies on social media, posting several unusual images showing him affectionately embracing female coworkers, after being fired from ITV due to accusations of inappropriate conduct.
Over the past few months, I’ve found myself in the limelight for reasons that aren’t entirely pleasant. A series of allegations regarding inappropriate conduct towards women have been levied against me, accusations I vehemently refute.
Later on, ITV removed all of Gino’s programs from their future broadcast lineup following the disclosure of the allegations during an investigation.
However, in an effort to regain public favor, Gino recently filmed a cheerful corporate video at one of his surviving restaurants, which narrowly avoided closure earlier this year due to financial troubles within his company.
In a short Instagram video, he provided cooking advice to his chefs, then shared affectionate hugs and a playful cheek-kiss with the women working in the kitchen.
According to a source, although Gino is considered unwelcome at ITV, he can’t be silenced and is actively working to revitalize his image through social media platforms.

In other words, it’s common for corporations to post cheerful videos on Instagram as part of an apology process. Gino believes that presenting a unified stance and using persuasive tactics can be quite effective.
Gino wishes that others would view him as a friendly, approachable individual who isn’t arrogant or aloof. He hopes they’ll notice him working in his own restaurant, interacting comfortably with staff and customers, sharing laughter and casual conversation.
Instead of focusing on the potential renewed attention following Gregg Wallace and John Torode’s departure from Masterchef and the uncertainty that comes with it, Gino intends to leverage his expanded social media platform as a diversion.
He isn’t unaware of the fact that he won’t likely get a primetime spot on ITV any time in the near future. However, if he demonstrates acceptable behavior and foreign audiences show enthusiasm for him, UK decision-makers might give him a second glance.
TopMob have contacted Gino’s reps for comment.
According to an inside source, the chef is facing serious issues, and ITV wants to avoid finding themselves in a similar predicament as with Gregg Wallace (BBC) or repeating the Schofield incident. Therefore, they are taking precautions to cover all their grounds.
However, it’s been announced that Gino will return to our screens in September, sharing his experiences in Malta through a new travel show titled “An Italian in Malta.” This program will delve into the Mediterranean island where he currently considers a second residence.

He shared with The Mirror: “My intention is to give everyone worldwide a glimpse into this country. I’m on a quest to discover the ideal restaurant, the ideal dish, the ideal location. I’ll converse with local folks about their traditional cooking methods and recipes that have been passed down for centuries.
In a surprising turn of events, it’s been discovered that Gino has secretly been working on an acting venture in Ireland. He’s portraying a grubby mechanic there, which represents his initial attempt at a significant scripted character.
He shared: ‘I play an character in a television series. This character is an Italian-American mechanic who frequently finds himself in legal troubles, either with the police or the law. Later on, he becomes a mechanic and assists the central figure of the program.’
‘This is acting now, I’m not becoming a real mechanic, I’m useless at stuff like that.’
TopMob has approached representatives for Gino for comment.
After a hiatus from the public eye, I, as a lifestyle expert, am sharing an update on the situation involving the popular This Morning host, who temporarily stepped away from TV responsibilities following allegations of inappropriate sexual behavior. These accusations included instances of aggressive and sexually suggestive language dating back over a decade, as reported by ITV News.
Gino said he ‘firmly denied’ the accusations, calling them ‘simply not in my nature.’
In spite of his television career collapsing due to the allegations, leading to a drought in job opportunities, Gino maintains he’s prepared to advance, mentioning that not all have abandoned him.

Gino clarified that there is no truth to the speculation about tension with his long-standing partner Gordon Ramsay. Instead, he referred to Gordon as a “very generous and easygoing individual.
In an interview with The Mirror, he stated, “He would certainly respond if I called via FaceTime from here, but if I were to call him while I’m on a show, he would undoubtedly become quite irritated.
This month, Gino opened his inaugural overseas eatery, Luciano, on the island of Malta. But not all might embrace Gino’s comeback with enthusiasm.
Within the past month, during a provocative radio discussion, the ex-contestant on I’m A Celeb stirred up new controversy with a series of inappropriate remarks about female bodies. He expressed his opinion that an authentic man prefers women to have “something to hold onto” and admitted to preferring fuller figures.
When Nicole mentioned that she frequently diets, he replied: ‘Dogs are the only ones who enjoy bones.’
As a committed follower, I personally prefer a more substantial build, for I find myself drawn to the solidity that comes with a bit of extra mass. Being overly slim, in my opinion, is reminiscent of an absence or lack of strength and vigor.
