Gino D’Acampo celebrates wife Jessica’s birthday with date at the Soho House – as he battles harassment storm

On Tuesday, Gino D’Acampo marked his wife Jessica’s birthday by spending an enchanting night together at the Soho House in London.

As a devoted admirer, I found myself right in the midst of an exciting moment when, at the ripe age of 48, the renowned culinary maestro and his companion graciously posed for a snapshot alongside the vibrant band SOL & The Gang. Their performance at the venue had undeniably added a spark to the evening’s atmosphere.

On the occasion of her evening out, Gino’s wife Jessica presented an elegant appearance, adorning a dazzling jumpsuit and matching it with a set of stunning diamond earrings.

Gino opted for a black zip-up jumper which he paired with a white shirt and dark trousers.

Gino and Jessica are making their friend’s birthday special by extending the celebration over an entire week, including a recent ski trip they took together.

The well-known chef, facing allegations about inappropriate behavior, continued to grin, reminiscent of their initial encounter, as he expressed affection for his longtime partner, whom they’ve been with for 31 years.

Previously, there was a buzz when Gino disclosed that the key to their marital bliss lies in maintaining separate personal spaces and individual activities, often referred to as leading ‘independent lives’.

He shared that during his absence, he has a weekly call with Jessica, lasting approximately 20 minutes, and finds it puzzling as to why his friends engage in lengthy conversations with their spouses for extended periods.

Yet, the setup appears to suit the pair perfectly, as they gleamed radiant smiles atop a towering mountain in an affectionate social media post.

Jessica leaned close and planted a kiss on her spouse’s cheek while snuggling up for the photos, which Gino uploaded with an overjoyed description.

I’ll confess that despite being together, Jessica and I each maintain our individual lives, often finding ourselves separated for extended spells during our leisure hours.

He spends time at homes in both the UK and Italy, where he resides with Jessica and their trio of kids: Luciano (age 22), Rocco (age 19), and Mia (age 12).

Instead, Gino mentions that he meticulously manages his time away from work to ensure solitude, which he believes fortifies his marriage.

He said to warmth, “Not just family time matters a lot to me, but I also find solitude crucial. It allows one to uncover hidden aspects of oneself and provides space for reflection, an activity we tend to overlook too frequently.

‘Everybody’s always so busy and alone time is super-important for my marriage.’ 

He mentioned that he and Jessica have been a couple for thirty-one years, they share three kids, and their relationship is smooth due to the fact that they maintain separate lives occasionally.

As a star-struck teenager, I found my soulmate in the hallowed halls of Sylvester Stallone’s very own Mambo King eatery in sunny Marbella. There, I donned the mantle of Head Chef and, among the aromas of exotic dishes and the hum of patrons, I encountered the one who would steal my heart forever.

In 2002, they tied the knot, and again reaffirmed their commitment in 2021. However, the renowned Italian figure denies the possibility that time spent apart could foster infidelity.

To OK! Magazine, he clarified: ‘It’s important to strike a balance between your marital responsibilities and maintaining aspects of your unmarried lifestyle.’

For a whole month, I’ll be out of town, but I’ll call my wife every week for around 20 minutes. Once I return, we can catch up and discuss everything together.

The television cook admitted that sometimes he can’t decipher the topics his friends discuss with their spouses during extended phone conversations, preferring instead to keep his own conversations with Jessica brief and pleasant.

Gino confessed that he plans to dine and socialize with other females during some of his individual vacations as well.

In my perspective, I understand what you’re saying: ‘I guess you might think that for me to be untrue to my spouse, I must plan a vacation, right? But in truth, I can be disloyal anytime and anywhere. So, please, set aside any concerns about me going on a trip alone.’

In a chat I had with the hosts of Good Morning Britain back in 2022, I shared the heartwarming story of meeting my beloved wife.

He shared: “Upon meeting my wife, I hadn’t had any romantic encounters with other women, as I was just 17 years old. Her captivating blonde hair and extraordinary personality drew me in. After a couple of weeks, she introduced me to something entirely new.

‘So I got there and basically all I was thinking was ‘Am I going to get laid?’

As a thoughtful individual, I found myself questioning if it was appropriate to express my sentiments. Could I rephrase it as “making love” instead? Nonetheless, let me share that she extended an invitation for me to visit and even prepared a meal for me herself.

Last night, new allegations of inappropriate behavior surfaced against Gino, as ex-colleagues claimed he made indecent gestures and explicit comments during the filming for ITV.

Reports from the travel show “Gordon, Gino & Fred: Road Trip” claim that he inappropriately questioned a production team member about their personal relationships and made unwanted physical advances towards another female colleague.

Individuals within Gordon Ramsay’s company, Studio Ramsay, who were involved in the production of the show, have reportedly asserted that the outspoken Italian chef was quite challenging to collaborate with and at times, made staff uncomfortable by playfully exposing himself jokingly.

2021 saw the managers of Gino being called for a meeting by ITV executives, following multiple complaints from staff regarding his reported conduct, which had caused concern.

Regardless, Gino was granted the opportunity to feature again on the program alongside chefs Gordon and Fred Siriex.

Based on reports from the program, it was mentioned that multiple issues or concerns (complaints) arose regarding Gino. He remained on the show until he was discreetly let go last year.

As an ardent admirer, it’s beginning to appear increasingly suspicious that ITV and the production company might be concealing something.

ITV intervened and held a discussion with Gino’s previous manager regarding claims of unsuitable conduct.

Despite numerous sensational claims, it was disclosed by The Mail on Sunday that ITV continues to plan the airing of a series of Family Fortunes episodes hosted by Gino, which were taped earlier this year.

Simultaneously, another team member shared with our newspaper their observation of Gino’s reportedly problematic behavior behind the scenes. According to the employee, countless crew members, contributors, and television executives have witnessed his conduct, clench their teeth, and attempt to carry on.

‘He tends to be overly familiar, crossing boundaries, which most people found uncomfortable. He can also be quite rude and challenging to get along with. In some instances, it was reported that he would make inappropriate jokes involving exposure of his body.’

It seems he finds this amusing, which might lead one to question if he’s unaware of its inappropriateness. There’s an air about him that suggests old-fashioned Italian charm, perhaps even seductive? However, his humor often leaves others feeling uneasy.

Last year, I found myself shedding light on some intriguing behind-the-scenes events surrounding the departure of Gino during the filming of Gordon, Gino & Fred: Road Trip back in March 2023. Production staff reported feeling uneasy due to his alleged actions, which left a lingering discomfort among the team.

In my professional opinion as a lifestyle expert, I can share that the individual asserted he departed due to unwanted strain from contentious contract negotiations threatening his cherished camaraderie with his colleagues. However, it was later unveiled that he found himself in an awkward position after reportedly balking at the inclusion of a morality clause within his employment agreement.

Independently, it has come to light that a woman filed a complaint with the management of ITV this month, stating that she had been subjected to inappropriate conduct by Gino for a span of five years.

From 2006 to 2011, the woman collaborated with him on the morning talk show “This Morning,” where he served as the resident chef, as well as on the weekend program “Saturday Cooks!

Additionally, it’s rumored that ITV required Gino to finish a language and conduct training program following allegations about his behavior towards female coworkers on his latest series called Emission Impossible.

Reports indicate that production stopped when members of the team claimed he told inappropriate off-camera jokes. It’s also been suggested that some individuals received counseling following the conclusion of the series due to these incidents.

At the specified moment, Gino expressed his astonishment and vehemently denied the distressing claims of sexual harassment and inappropriate behavior, said to have occurred long ago while filming Gordon, Gino & Fred.

To set the record straight, I want you to understand unequivocally that this situation did not occur. I hold issues of this nature with utmost gravity, and the notion that I would intentionally behave inappropriately towards any female colleagues is profoundly disconcerting to me.
