Gilmore Girls’ Lauren Graham reunites with co-star at special event
As a gamer who grew up with the magical world of Stars Hollow, I can confidently say that the reunion of Lorelai and Emily Gilmore is like finding the elusive rare Pokémon in the game of life. The bond between these two iconic characters has been a constant comfort, a beacon of friendship, and a source of laughter for millions of fans around the globe.
At a special gathering, actress Lauren Graham, who played Lorelai Gilmore in Gilmore Girls, was joined by her TV mom, Kelly Bishop. The reunion of these beloved characters brought joy to many fans as they saw the on-screen daughter and mother meet once more.
In the comedy-drama, the actors portrayed Lorelai and Emily Gilmore. They were both present throughout the entire series’ seven seasons, and later took on their roles again when the show was revived as Gilmore Girls: A Year in the Life.
Eight years after the sequel series, Bishop – who previously appeared in Dirty Dancing – has been touring to publicize her memoir titled The Third Gilmore Girl. Her recent stop was New York City for a unique live event, as reported by E Online.
To everyone’s astonishment, it turned out that Graham, known for his role in “Parenthood”, took charge as the host for the night. During this event, Bishop shared insights about her life and time spent working on the set of “Gilmore Girls”.

The Third Gilmore Girl, as announced in February, delves into Bishop’s personal and professional journey. The star expressed her enthusiasm about the memoir, stating: “From my initial strides on a Broadway stage, to the charming town of Stars Hollow, I am eager to guide my fans through the narrative of my life.”
