Gillian Anderson’s 100%-rated “instant cult classic” gets excellent must-see trailer

The highly anticipated horror movie, Teenage Sex and Death at Camp Miasma, featuring Gillian Anderson and Hannah Einbinder, just dropped a fantastic trailer. It’s set to release this summer.

Jane Schoenbrun’s new horror film centers around Kris, a filmmaker played by Einbinder, who gets the job of reviving a forgotten horror series. Her plan is to remake the original movie, which featured Billy Preston, played by Anderson.

Billy, a famous actor who has withdrawn from public life and become something of an enigma, is asked by Kris to return to her role. Their reunion quickly leads them into a dangerous and unsettling world filled with intense emotions and paranoia.

Mubi just released a wild new trailer for the upcoming slasher horror film, set to hit theaters in August. The trailer opens with a creepy warning from the character Billy, hinting at danger for himself and Kris. You can view the trailer above.

Billy admits there are nights when she feels genuinely scared, like someone dangerous could attack her. Surprisingly, she adds, ‘I actually enjoy that feeling.’

Teenage Sex and Death at Camp Miasma is released in cinemas in the UK and Ireland on 21 August.
