Gibbs faces his first Christmas alone in NCIS: Origins season 1, episode 10 (Preview)
As a gamer who has spent countless hours immersed in the world of NCIS: Origins, I can’t help but feel a deep connection with Leroy Jethro Gibbs. This man, whose life has been filled with tragedy and triumph, is about to face his first Christmas alone, and it’s heart-wrenching.
As we approach the final episode of NCIS: Origins this year, it means that Gibbs will be spending his first Christmas all by himself.
Essentially, he may not be physically isolated, as there are individuals nearby who could offer companionship if invited. Mike Franks might extend a welcome for him to spend the first Christmas, understanding the significance of monitoring Gibbs given his expected mental state during this period.
Yet, this year marks Gibbs’s initial Christmas without Shannon and Kelly. It’s often said that the first Christmas is the most challenging, and it seems that will hold true in his case. So, what becomes of him after decades of sharing the holiday cheer with his loved ones?
Flashbacks to Gibbs’s first day at NIS in NCIS: Origins season 1, episode 10
In the winter finale, there isn’t a lot revealed about this week’s case. However, we can expect to see some glimpses into Gibbs’s past, specifically his early days with NIS. This implies that we’ll encounter some encounters between Gibbs and both Frank and Lala during these flashbacks.
In the given text, it’s not clear whether the conversation between Lala and Gibbs occurred in the present or past. This ambiguity arises due to Lala’s history of mistrusting Gibbs, which suggests that her doubts about him might have been ongoing. She remains vigilant in observing his actions, as she is aware that he has little left to lose. In simpler terms, we can’t tell whether this dialogue took place now or earlier because Lala has had consistent suspicions about Gibbs throughout the timeline.
More recently, Lala disclosed the contents of Gibbs’s psychological evaluation. Given the circumstances, it’s not surprising that he failed since he had nothing left to lose. A person in such a state can become both dangerous and uncontrollable. I’m curious about what was discussed in Lala’s evaluation too. Mike’s would probably be even more troubling, I suspect! Indeed, he is far from predictable!
