As a long-time fan of RHONJ, I’ve watched Gia Giudice grow from a precocious preteen to a smart, independent young woman. And let me tell you, it’s hard for me too to see her as anything but an adult now that she’s graduated from college and is making her way in the world.
The reality show The Real Housewives of New Jersey has faced some troubles recently, as a significant rift among the housewives has arisen. Despite an upcoming rearrangement before a new season is planned, the turmoil continues unabated. In this instance, Gia Giudice offers her opinions on the RHONJ cast and their criticism towards her and her mother, Teresa.
On Real Housewives of New Jersey (RHONJ), Gia has seemingly matured right before our eyes, leading some viewers to perceive her as more youthful despite being in her twenties. When she stepped into the drama during Season 14, a few housewives voiced their opinions, even labeling her as immature or juvenile.
As reported by Reality Tea, Gia Giudice is expressing her viewpoint that some fellow Housewives on RHONJ are displaying jealousy towards her. More specifically, she’s sharing her feelings about the other women frequently addressing her as if she were still a minor.
On Teresa Giudice’s podcast, I spilled the beans about how the other housewives discuss me and my role in the drama. They’ve got a lot to say, but it’s always interesting to hear their perspective!
It seems people often refer to me as “that” due to their persistent mental association of me with the 8-year-old who appeared on Real Housewives of New Jersey. However, it’s important to clarify that this image no longer fits me; I have graduated from college and am currently two years post-graduation, working full-time as an adult. Those who continue to label me in this way may be insecure and envious, envying the fact that they don’t possess someone like me in their circle.
It’s understandable that we find ourselves partially aligning with Gia’s portrayal, given that many people have witnessed her growth over time. It’s challenging to accept a child, especially one from your own family like the Gorgas, as an adult when you’ve been closely involved in their lives for so long.
It cannot be disputed that Gia is an adult, not a child. Referring to her as such can be seen as disrespectful and inappropriate. While you may prefer to exclude her from the adult matters at hand, it does not make her someone who should be kept away from grown-up business due to her age.
It’s undeniable that several Real Housewives of New Jersey cast members view Gia more like a child than an adult. However, this perspective no longer holds true as she has grown up. It’s high time they acknowledge and respect the fact that Gia is now an independent individual with her own thoughts and opinions about her family matters.
What do you think about Gia Giudice’s reaction to being called a child? Do you agree with her and what she had to say?
