Ghosts Season 5: First Look At Kyle’s Return Amid Sam’s Absence

Recent photos from the fifth season of Ghosts show a familiar face returning, even while Sam is away. The CBS comedy has already been picked up for a sixth season, proving it’s becoming one of the longest-running sitcoms on network TV. Being on the air for so long allows the show to bring in a variety of guest stars, adding depth to the main characters and storylines.

I’m really excited about Ben Feldman joining the cast as Kyle Rosenblat – he’s a fantastic actor! Like Samantha, he can see and talk to ghosts, which adds a really interesting dynamic. Though, when he first appeared in the episode ‘Kyle,’ he didn’t exactly make a great first impression on Jay, and it was fun to watch that play out.

New photos from TV Insider show Corey Feldman returning in the Thanksgiving episode of Ghost Adventures, titled “Planes, Shanes, and Automobiles.” The episode will air on CBS November 20th, and a photo gallery showcases Kyle’s experiences at Woodstone. Meanwhile, Sam is on a different trip with Pete (played by Richie Moriarty).

This week’s episode, written by Akilah Green and directed by Heather Jack, centers around the ghosts of Woodstone Manor. They’re frustrated with Jay’s performance while Sam is away and decide to get Kyle involved. Meanwhile, Sam and Pete are struggling on a book tour, constantly irritating each other. Their trip hits a snag when a potential airline strike jeopardizes their Thanksgiving plans.

Kyle coming back will likely stir up old problems for Jay. When Kyle first appeared, things started off okay, and Sam was glad to find someone else who could see ghosts. However, this made Jay a little jealous, as both Sam and Kyle share this unique ability.

Jay was right to not trust Kyle, especially when Kyle awkwardly tries to kiss Sam and gets rejected. This creates a compelling situation, as the ghosts of Woodstone seem to thrive on this kind of tension. It also highlights Jay’s bigger struggle to find his place and understand his abilities within the world of Ghosts.

Joe Port and Joe Wiseman, the executive producers and showrunners of Ghosts, have confirmed several cast members will return for season 5, including Patience, Elias Woodstone, and Nigel. However, bringing back Kyle is expected to be the most challenging case so far.
