After six years of an on-and-off partnership, Zak Bagans and his girlfriend Holly Madison have announced their official separation.

According to reports from TMZ on Wednesday, Zak Bagans, known for Ghost Adventures, who started dating the ex-Playboy House Bunny in 2019, is said to have ended his relationship with Madison, aged 45, a few weeks prior.

The news about their split arrives amidst a whirlwind of controversy surrounding Aaron Goodwin, a popular figure on the reality show, as his spouse stands accused of plotting to hire an assassin to take his life.

It isn’t clear why Zak and Holly broke up, but they have both stopped following each other on Instagram since then.

Bagans told TMZ, “I don’t want to delve into specifics, but I will only say that we’ve had numerous wonderful moments and joyful experiences together.

As a loyal admirer, I’ve got an endless reservoir of affection for her, and nothing but the finest well-wishes for her journey ahead. Yet, I must share that I’ve found new companionship and am embracing fresh beginnings.

Prior to their romantic involvement, which began in 2019, Zak and Holly were already friends. This friendship deepened when the model paid a visit to Zak’s Haunted Mansion in Las Vegas.

Two years ago, the couple parted ways, and a source told TMZ back then that they separated on good terms and continue to be friends.

In 2023, the well-known television figure and striking blonde reportedly reignited their relationship. A source shared with TMZ that even during their split, there were occasional exchanges between them.

Previously, the ex-pair generally avoided discussing their past romance openly; however, Madison occasionally spoke about it in an interview she had with People magazine.

In that moment, she honestly shared her experience of receiving an autism diagnosis at the age of 42, acknowledging Bagan’s support throughout.

The reality TV star mentioned that he feels fortunate because the person he’s dating has consistently grasped him well and accepted him as he is. Consequently, receiving the diagnosis didn’t come as a significant surprise to him.

Zak Bagans’ split from Holly Morris coincides with allegations against fellow Ghost Adventures cast member, Aaron Goodwin’s wife, Victoria, involving an attempt on Aaron’s life by a hired assassin.

During his lockdown investigation, Aaron was contacted by the police who informed him that his wife, Victoria (who got married in 2022), had been taken into custody, according to TMZ.

The incident was captured on film, though it seems it won’t be aired during the upcoming season of the program, which is broadcast on the Discovery Channel at present.

According to sources, Zak Bagans holds the artistic freedom regarding the series, and he intends to discuss this matter with the network before a final call is made about incorporating the call into an upcoming episode in the future.

The police additionally reported that Aaron’s wife sought assistance from triple-homicide offender Grant Amato, with the intent that he would carry out the murder of Aaron.

At one point during the brief hearing, Victoria smirked as she looked back at the courtroom.

For the remainder of her time there, she remained silent and appeared worried as she took in the courtroom scene around her.

The rest of the time she spent in the courtroom, she kept quiet and seemed preoccupied with worry as she looked around.

On Tuesday, the judge approved Victoria’s request to postpone her preliminary hearing, keeping her bail set at $100,000. Her next appearance in court will be on April 8th.

In accordance with the terms set for her release, it was mandated that Victoria avoid any communication with her separated spouse, as indicated in court documents reviewed by DailyMail.com.

On Tuesday afternoon, as per jail records, she is still being held at the Clark County Detention Center.

Victoria, with disheveled golden-brown hair tied loosely in a casual pigtail, maintained a serious expression throughout the events unfolding, yet managed to give a brief, cheerful grin towards her lawyer, seated behind her prior to the court session.

The plan by Victoria for hiring someone to commit murder was thwarted when the authorities intercepted her communication with convicted criminal, Grant Amato, in March of 2024.

It was during Grant’s imprisonment that corrections officers confiscated his phone. This is when the authorities found text messages between Grant and Victoria, in which Victoria supposedly agreed to pay a hitman $11,515 to kill Aaron, with an initial payment of $2,500.

‘Am I a bad person? Because I chose to end his existence. Not divorce?’ she asked in one text.

In another text, it appears Victoria claims: ‘Currently, he’s napping in his hotel room… I require some information about the situation. Could you provide me with an update? Did everything get completed?’

In the year 2019, Amato stood trial for the gruesome murders of his three family members – his parents and brother – due to a disagreement regarding an alleged sum of $200,000 that went towards a webcam entertainer instead of being accounted for.

On March 13, Aaron initiated a divorce proceeding and petitioned the court to keep his personal possessions while asking for an equal distribution of the shared assets between them.

Last week, he modified his claim to request more than $10,000 in compensation. Additionally, he alleged that she was negligent and unjustly detained him.

In the court document, it is stated that Victoria’s behavior was extremely or incredibly inappropriate, either deliberately intended to or shown a disregard for causing emotional pain to Aaron.

‘[He] experienced intense emotional turmoil, potentially to a life-altering degree, directly or indirectly due to her actions.’

Aaron broke his silence over the weekend and thanked his 1.3M social media followers.

He expressed his gratitude by saying, “I want to thank each of you for your kindness and encouragement during these difficult times. Your support truly means a great deal to me.
