To kick off the new year, Jordan Brand unveiled plans to celebrate their 40th anniversary by introducing several fresh silhouettes and color combinations, along with bringing back some of their most revered classics. As anticipation builds, Footlocker has now made available an exclusive collection in both their physical stores and online platform.
In their latest lineup, the shoe retailer unveiled two classic models from their past: the eagerly awaited Air Jordan 1 High OG “Shattered Backboard” and the Air Jordan 3 “Starfish”. Over time, these designs have been updated, with the first one marking its tenth anniversary by using premium materials similar to its original design. On the other hand, the women’s Air Jordan 3 “Starfish” offers a new blend of perforated leather, suede, and canvas, drawing inspiration from Nina Chanel’s Air Jordan 3 Retro.

Expanding their collection of Flight Courts, Retro 11s, and other Air Jordan designs, the sports apparel store recently introduced the Air Jordan 40 – a groundbreaking sneaker. This latest model, unveiled last month, has already garnered praise from fans due to its unique features like the first-ever full-length ZoomX midsole in Nike history and Zoom Strobel. Compared to its predecessor, it retains a slender silhouette but replaces the webbed overlay with a three-panel upper crafted from premium leather.
Take a closer look at the three drops in the galleries above.
