As an avid fan of “The Morning Show,” I’m thrilled to share that production for season 4 has officially begun! It’s been a long wait since we last saw our favorite characters on screen, but with leading ladies Jennifer Aniston and Reese Witherspoon confirming the start of filming on July 8, 2024, I can barely contain my excitement.
Exciting news for all “The Morning Show” enthusiasts! The production of season 4 has officially commenced on July 8, 2024. Although we knew filming would start in July 2024, the exact date was uncertain until our talented leading ladies confirmed it.
Jennifer Aniston, portraying Alex Levy in the highly anticipated Apple TV+ series, was the initial one to unveil behind-the-scenes glimpses on Instagram. She posted two images, igniting excitement among fans for the upcoming drama.
In the opening scene, she is depicted alongside her co-stars Reese Witherspoon, portraying Bradley Jackson, and an unexpected presence, Tig Notaro, as Amanda. Initially, the actress emerged in season 3 as Paul Marks’ (Jon Hamm) chief of staff. Given the turn of events between Alex and Paul, I hadn’t anticipated him featuring prominently in season 4. However, it remains unclear where Amanda fits into this dynamic, and whether Paul will continue to be a part of the series is yet to be revealed. We shall soon discover the answers to these questions.
The second image unveils Jenna Aniston’s script for the initial episode of The Morning Show’s fourth season, titled “My Roman Empire.” This title likely relates to the prevalent 2023 TikTok trend, symbolizing frequent thoughts or preoccupations. Indeed, these characters face numerous challenges that require constant contemplation.
Aniston isn’t alone in providing a sneak peek into production; Witherspoon likewise shared some glimpses on Instagram. She offered three distinct images: a mirror selfie with her charming co-stars, identical to Aniston’s post, a photo of her script displaying the first episode authored by Zander Lehmann and Charlotte Stoudt, and a team picture showcasing essential behind-the-scenes personnel.
Among them are Sophie De Rakoff, costume designer; Tracey Levy, makeup artist; Josie Craven, producer; and Lauren Neustadter, president of film and TV at Hello Sunshine. Hello Sunshine, a production company established by Witherspoon, is one of the entities responsible for bringing the drama series to fruition.
When could season 4 come out?
As a dedicated gamer following the production schedule of “The Morning Show,” I can anticipate that, based on past seasons, filming for season 4 is likely to last around seven months. Consequently, we can expect the cast and crew to finish up by February 2025. Historically, Apple TV+ has released new seasons fairly quickly, with a gap of just four months between Seasons 1 and 2. However, there seems to be a shift in their release pattern – Season 3 was completed in February 2023 but didn’t air until September 2023. This change might mean that we could see season 4 debut sometime in the summer or fall of 2025.
Based on the streaming schedule of the show, which releases new seasons in September and November, I estimate that we can expect the fourth season to drop around September 2025. Apple TV+ seems to prefer launching the series during fall months. This means a lengthy wait lies ahead for us eager fans.
