Get to know WWE NXT signee DELTA

As a seasoned gamer with decades of wrestling lore under my belt, I must admit that the recent debut of WWE NXT on the CW Network has truly rekindled my passion for this captivating world of sports entertainment. The premiere episode left me on the edge of my seat, particularly when Giulia was robbed of her rightful victory against Cora Jade.

The debut episode of WWE NXT kicked off with a bang on the CW Network. It began by featuring one of its newest recruits, Giulia, being denied the WWE NXT Women’s Championship at the hands of the returning Cora Jade. The women’s division in NXT was already stacked before the show, but it seems to have reached even greater heights with the introduction of DELTA, who is expected to make a significant mark on the roster straight away.

As I watched the October 1st episode unfold, WWE captivated me with an intriguing video midway through. It was a solitary figure treading down a post-apocalyptic road reminiscent of Mad Max. Above them, a sign declared NXT on Highway 27, foreshadowing the upcoming Halloween Havoc, WWE NXT’s next Pay-Per-View event set for Sunday, October 27. This ominous figure seemed to embody an athlete ready to wreak havoc, and let me tell you, that’s precisely what DELTA is planning to do!

At a height of 5 feet 8 inches and weighing 165 pounds, DELTA promises to bring an impressive presence to their group, a strength not felt for some time. While it’s inevitable that comparisons to another Australian wrestler, Rhea Ripley, will arise due to their similar physiques, it’s important to note that DELTA is distinctly unlike Rhea. Yes, they both have robust builds, but beyond that, their styles in the ring are quite dissimilar.

Over the past three years, DELTA’s skills have become evident to many. They’ve managed to win multiple championships in a short span, with several reigns lasting over 200 days each. For instance, they held the MCW Women’s Championship for a total of 427 days. Their dominance has been extensively showcased in Australia and has even caught the attention of more established companies like NWA and New Japan, where they made appearances in 2023.

The women’s division in WWE NXT deserves recognition as one of the top divisions globally. It stands out particularly in terms of booking, surpassing both SmackDown and Raw. Moreover, the performances by these young talents are often highly praised, which speaks volumes about their skill. As the division evolves, Delta is expected to create a significant impact once they make their debut on stage.
