Geri Horner faces another blow as book company racks up huge £1million debt as husband Christian is sacked by Red Bull

Geri Halliwell, in another setback, discovered that her publishing house is burdened with a substantial debt of approximately £1 million.

After spending a year away from his role as head of Red Bull, following a scandal involving inappropriate text messages he allegedly sent to a female colleague, Christian, her husband, is no longer on active duty.

As per recent reports, Geri’s business, Falcon Queen Productions, appears to be experiencing financial difficulties, potentially putting her in a challenging position.

According to The Mirror, Geri experienced a significant increase in financial loss, with a shortfall of approximately £750,000 in the period ending August 2024, contrasting the £276,000 deficit from the year before.

The artist published her two children’s books titled “Rosie Frost and the Falcon Queen” and “Rose Frost: Ice On Fire through the publishing company.

On the other hand, during the period of 12 months ending in August the previous year, Wonderful Productions, her main business, generated a revenue of approximately £2.16 million.

In 1997, during the peak of the Spice Girls’ popularity, Geri established a production company named Wonderful Productions. This company generates income from her musical career and various business ventures.

Christian was released from his operational duties as the boss of Red Bull earlier this week. 

This marks the conclusion of the longest-running tenures of Formula One team principals in the sport, occurring a year subsequent to the controversy surrounding allegedly offensive text messages he reportedly exchanged with a female staff member.

On Wednesday, July 9th, 2025, Red Bull announced that Christian Horner is stepping down from his operational responsibilities, effective immediately. In his place, Laurent Mekies has been appointed as the new CEO of Red Bull Racing.

Last year, when explosive allegations shook the Formula One paddock, Geri, Horner’s wife who was once a Spice Girl, stood by her husband. Horner strongly denies these claims.

Yesterday, following a 3-week external investigation, anonymous screenshots of supposed WhatsApp conversations between Horner and a Red Bull employee were leaked. However, these accusations against the 51-year-old were found to be untrue.

As a die-hard fan, I’ve got to say, it’s been an emotional rollercoaster watching Horner weather the storm. Yet, despite allegations of manipulative conduct toward a fellow team member, he not only persevered but was vindicated twice in internal probes, exonerating him from any wrongdoing.

Amidst the uproar, his Spice Girl wife, Halliwell, advised him to resolve everything quickly. Remarkably, he managed to keep things under wraps for a stretch of 16 months.

It appears that what is said to be a confidential file, containing texts and images, was inadvertently shared with approximately 200 key figures, encompassing sports owners such as Liberty Media, team principals, and members of the media.

Later on, Horner was cleared again as the female employee chose to contest the initial investigation’s results, and these findings were affirmed.

An independent lawyer interviewed Horner for almost nine hours, it is understood.

It appears that the strong backing he had from the Thai principal shareholders of Red Bull, which initially ensured his annual income of £12 million, has diminished over time.

Last weekend, he held authority at Silverstone. He appeared to be the sovereign of everything within sight, even during the yearly Clay Day event that took place on a Wednesday nearby his personal residence in Oxfordshire.

Red Bull have been contacted for comment but have not responded.

In the current predicament, the public relations team at Red Bull Racing is taking a backseat. Instead, all media queries are now being forwarded to Red Bull’s energy drink headquarters located in Austria.
