Geri Halliwell and Christian Horner put on a united front as they are joined by his daughter Olivia at the Victoria Beckham Netflix premiere

It was so lovely to see Geri Halliwell and Christian Horner together at the Victoria Beckham premiere! They really seemed like a happy family, especially with Christian’s daughter, Olivia, by their side. They definitely put on a united front, and it was heartwarming to witness.

Geri Halliwell, 52, formerly of the Spice Girls, and her husband, Christian Horner, 51, who used to lead the Red Bull racing team, attended the premiere of a new Netflix documentary about her bandmate Victoria Beckham on Wednesday at The Curzon Mayfair.

For the premiere, Geri chose her classic white outfit: a cable-knit cardigan layered over a roll neck sweater, paired with a flowing, sheer lace maxi skirt.

Christian wore a navy suit while posing for photos with his wife, Geri, and their daughter Olivia, who is eleven years old. Olivia is his daughter from his previous marriage to Beverley Allen.

This year has been challenging for the family. Christian Horner was cleared of misconduct allegations following two internal investigations, and while he denies any wrongdoing, he was let go by Red Bull during the summer.

Sadly, Beverley passed away after a long fight with cancer, just ten days before he was let go by Red Bull, according to a report from the Daily Mail in July.

Beverley Allen, age 58, died at her home in the Cotswolds last Monday. She was the mother of the teenage daughter of the former Formula 1 boss, and had been battling eye cancer for two years.

Beverley and Horner were together for 14 years before their breakup, after which he married Geri Halliwell. They share a daughter together, and Beverley also appreciated that he helped raise her two sons – they remained good friends despite the changes.

Beverley and Christian were a couple in the early and mid-2000s, and her encouragement played a vital role in his incredible Formula 1 career.

A friend of Beverley’s shared with Daily Mail that Beverley was a kind woman, and her recent hardship is heartbreaking.

I was heartbroken to learn about my friend’s eye cancer diagnosis a few years back. While she knew it was serious, and the outlook wasn’t great, hearing the news still felt like a terrible shock. It’s just so incredibly sad.

‘Beverley was loved by everyone who knew her. It’s just heartbreaking.’

She passed away shortly before Christian Horner was fired by Red Bull, following accusations of misconduct made last year by a female colleague at Red Bull Racing. The allegations had been ongoing for fifteen months.

Although Christian disputed the accusations and an independent investigator appointed by Red Bull found no evidence of wrongdoing, the controversy continued.

According to a source speaking to the Daily Mail, Christian is deeply saddened by Beverley’s death. She was a longtime friend, and her daughter is now grieving the loss of her mother.

Beverley was devastated in October 2014 when Christian, then 51, left her after their daughter was born, and he started a relationship with Geri.

The couple revealed their relationship and announced they were engaged in November. They married in May 2015 at St Mary’s Church in Woburn, Bedfordshire, but Christian’s parents didn’t attend the wedding. Reports suggest they were unhappy about his previous breakup with Beverley and his new romance with Geri.

Even after separating from their son, the parents continued to maintain a close relationship with Beverley and their granddaughter.

It’s just heartbreaking. A close friend told me that life really hadn’t been kind to Beverley, and it’s so unfair. She’d *just* had her daughter – a baby she and Christian had wanted for so long – when he left her. It’s just devastating to think about.

‘She really didn’t have it easy, we are all devastated.’

Christian and Beverley, who used to run a pub, managed to repair their relationship and had enjoyed a peaceful and happy connection in recent years.

Beverly was six years older than her husband. When they met, she already had two sons from a previous relationship, and Christian had become a father figure to them.

Sources close to the Red Bull Racing team say the woman involved in the recent controversy received £3 million to resign.

Okay, so I’ve been following this whole thing *so* closely, and apparently, the person who made the claims – they’re keeping their name secret for legal reasons, which is totally understandable – has decided to just… let it go. They’re getting some kind of payment, and in exchange, they’re dropping everything. It’s… complicated, but honestly, I just hope everyone involved can finally move on. I’ve been obsessively checking for updates, and this is… a development, that’s for sure!

She was at the Singapore Grand Prix and has since joined a different racing team.

I’m really hoping Christian will find his way back to the sport. It was a shock when Red Bull effectively pushed him out back in July, but he’s always maintained his innocence. Thankfully, two internal investigations have cleared him of any wrongdoing, and he’s consistently denied any inappropriate behaviour. I believe him and want to see him back where he belongs.

He received an £80 million settlement and hopes to race in Formula 1 again next spring, as long as it doesn’t violate the terms of his agreement.

Christian’s representatives were approached for a response.
