Georgia Toffolo is engaged! Former Made In Chelsea star accepts marriage proposal from millionaire BrewDog founder James Watt - after admitting it would be her 'ultimate' birthday gift

As a lifestyle expert with decades of personal experience under my belt, I must say that the union between former Made In Chelsea star, Toffolo, and BrewDog CEO, James Watt, seems like a match made in heaven – or at least, in the Greek islands!

Previously known Made In Chelsea cast member is anticipated to wed previous BrewDog CEO and co-founder James Watt, following his proposal this past weekend.

On a weekend while they were vacationing in the Greek islands, Watt – who is known for his wealth estimated at £262 million from BrewDog brewery and pub chain – proposed to his partner.

According to a source, he proposed to her with the presence of both their families in Greece yesterday.

Following the proposal, they headed to a grand celebration at Peligoni Club, where they eventually danced on tables to ABBA tunes, joining in the festivities with all the other partygoers.

30-year-old Toffolo, well-known for being a recurring character on the E4 series Made In Chelsea, has been in a relationship with BrewDog co-founder, a millionaire, since the previous summer. Now, they reside together in London.

42-year-old Watt resigned as CEO of Brewdog during the summer and has since secured over £2.5 million in investments for his latest project, a socially-oriented branding platform on social media known as Social Tip.

For Toffolo, this will mark the second romantic involvement. Previously, Toffolo was involved with George Cottrell, a wealthy aristocrat and former close associate of Nigel Farage, often referred to as ‘Posh George’.

He spent eight months in a US prison over a money-laundering scandal.

In 2022, they temporarily reignited their romance, but ultimately chose to part ways permanently after that.

Previously, Watt was wedded to Johanna Basford, an accomplished Scottish artist renowned for her adult coloring books, particularly “The Secret Garden,” which has surpassed ten million sales globally.

The couple, who share two children, divorced in 2020.

In September, I shared with the Daily Mail that an engagement ring would be the most cherished present as I approach my significant 30th birthday on October 23rd.

She said: ‘It would be the ultimate 30th birthday present. You never know, I can hope and pray and I was praying yesterday so hopefully it’s not too far off.’

Over the summer of 2023, Toffolo and Watt announced their relationship. They’ve had wonderful vacations together, like one in the Maldives in November, and just recently spent a relaxing long weekend in the Highlands with Watt’s kids and Toffolo’s nieces.

Besides attending football games, enjoying meals at restaurants, and even celebrating Nigel Farage’s 60th birthday with him, they have done all these activities together as well.

Watt mentioned that the relationship has given him greater calmness and broader perspective.

15 years ago, Watt was among those who started BrewDog, a Scottish brewery and pub chain. Now, he has relinquished his position within the company.

He handed over the reins to chief operating officer James Arrow, but remains with the group as a non-executive director on the board and continue to advise the group on strategy.

The team announced that they’d already prepared a plan for leadership transition, as Watt informed the board about his intention to depart a year ago to pursue other endeavors and passions.

On LinkedIn, he announced that after 17 remarkable years as CEO, he’s moving into a new position within the company titled ‘Captain and Co-Founder’. James Arrow will take over as CEO as we embark on our upcoming expansion and growth period.

In my updated position, I’ll continue serving on the board, acting as a director, and additionally, I’ll function as a part-time strategic advisor for the company, lending my insights to the management team.
