Georgia Toffolo recently opened up about her ongoing struggle with acne, describing it as ‘relentless’ in a personal video shared on Instagram. She revealed this despite being 30 years old.
The former Made In Chelsea star has dealt with acne and resulting scars since her teenage years, and has described it as her most significant personal challenge.
She recently shared that her skin has been consistently problematic for the past six months, with ongoing issues and fluctuations in its condition.
Georgia posted a video showing her skin problems and explained that these issues really affect her self-esteem.
I want to be upfront with everyone. I’ve always had a lot of trouble with my skin. If you look back at my skin journal from the last few months, you can see it’s been a constant rollercoaster.
It can be really overwhelming sometimes, and I honestly didn’t expect to still be dealing with acne at my age. But I’ve realized that improvement isn’t about achieving perfection – it’s about making progress, even if it’s not flawless.

I’m learning to be kinder to myself, especially when things are difficult, and I wanted to share that. If you’ve ever felt this way too, I’d love to hear about your experiences in the comments.
Georgia has openly shared her struggles with skin problems with her fans, and recently revealed in May that these issues had significantly impacted her self-confidence.
She posted a natural, make-up-free photo on Instagram to show off her skin as it really is.
Being on ‘I’m a Celebrity’ really changed things for me. Georgia shared with the Daily Mail that going on the show, and not being able to wear makeup in the jungle, actually kicked off a really interesting personal journey for her – learning to embrace her natural skin and feel comfortable as she is.
The star, who went on to win the show, said: ‘I was really nervous about doing that.
‘And it was so weird. I thought that my skin would have been a lot better, but it wasn’t.
I’ve learned over time that my skin problems are strongly linked to how stressed I am. Everything I’ve experienced with flare-ups seems to be connected to my stress levels.
She previously said she didn’t feel totally herself on the show without her ‘war paint’.

She explained that she used to be insecure about her skin. She also mentioned experiencing some mild online harassment after leaving the jungle.
The celebrity explained that openly talking about her skin has helped her feel more confident and less self-conscious.
She explained that she did a really impactful segment on *This Morning* – all she did was remove her makeup. It was surprisingly simple.
I used to stress a lot about what others thought of my skin. But I decided to ignore it and just kept going. I faced the camera head-on.
‘I said some of the nasty things that I’ve read across socials, and it had such an impact.’
According to the NHS, most people find their acne clears up during their 20s. However, around 3% of people continue to experience it after age 35.
