Georgia May Jagger reveals she’s on a quest to buy back her mother Jerry Hall’s vintage clothes after they were donated to a 2008 auction for charity

Jerry Hall, a renowned supermodel from the ’70s and ’80s, owns an exclusive collection of one-of-a-kind catwalk garments that are in high demand.

So, Georgia May Jagger, her daughter, is pursuing an endeavor to acquire her mother’s old pieces following the 68-year-old’s decision to give away significant portions during a 2008 auction benefiting a homeless charity.

Georgia May, aged 33, shares that she often wears garments passed down from Ms. Hall for prestigious occasions as a means of expressing, “If you possess any of my mother’s vintage clothing, I would be happy to purchase them from you.

At Vogue World London in 2023, the offspring of the Rolling Stones lead singer, Mick Jagger, donned a Bruce Oldfield dress identical to one her mom was famously photographed in during the ’90s.

At a party, there was laughter between the London-designer, renowned for his vintage Hollywood elegance, and Ms. Hall, as she accessorized her dress with a strand of pearls and bold red lipstick, reminiscent of classic Hollywood style.

30 years down the line, Georgia May – famous for her unadorned, gap-toothed smile – wore the same dress without a necklace and opted for a softer shade of pink lipstick. Her dyed blonde hair, echoing her mother’s iconic golden tresses, was a nod to her heritage.

Georgia May shared that her mother handed down around a dozen special items to her, as her elder sister, Lizzy, tragically lost her antique family treasures in a fire back in 2017.

In the ’90s, Ms. Hall was wed to Mick Jagger, aged 81 at the time, and they share four children: Elizabeth, James, Georgia May, and Gabriel together.

In 1999, I found myself parting ways in marriage. Later, in 2016, I walked down the aisle with media tycoon, Rupert Murdoch. Our journey together ended in 2022 when we decided to go our separate ways again.

In September, Georgia May gave birth to her first child, Dean Lee Jagger Sedlick, with her 25-year-old skateboarding partner, Cambryan Sedlick.

The Vogue interview transpired shortly following Georgia May’s attendance at the Fendi Winter Holiday 2024 Collection debut in London with Lennon Gallagher and his partner Isobel Richmond, which took place in November.

Georgia’s mom, Jerry, featured charmingly in one of the Polaroid photos, was the one who initially posted the announcement on Instagram, disclosing her grandson’s name.
