Georgia May Foote recently posted a photo showing her vitiligo, explaining that the skin condition has been bothering her lately.
The 34-year-old actress, famous for her role as Katy Armstrong on Coronation Street, has a long-term autoimmune condition that causes areas of skin to lose color.
Georgia recently shared a photo on Instagram showing her arm, giving her followers an honest update on how she’s doing.
She shared a glimpse into her week, including a few moments of rest, with the caption: ‘Just a little peek at my life this week.’
Georgia gave fans a peek into her daily life, posting photos of herself getting her nails done and browsing in bookstores.
Georgia previously opened up about her vitiligo and revealed it was ‘really getting to her‘.

In September, she posted a photo of her hand showing areas of pale white skin, explaining that the condition was getting worse.
Georgia penned: ‘Having this condition is really, really getting to me at the moment.
‘I have NEVER seen it spread so fast. My skin is literally itching so badly as it does so.
I visited the doctor nine months ago and saw a dermatologist who said I’d be put on the waiting list for light therapy. I haven’t received any updates since then.
I checked in two weeks ago, and they said once a referral is made, they’re no longer involved. That’s frustrating – it feels like another chance to resolve this issue, which has been ongoing for five years, has slipped away due to the process.
She added: ‘I’m literally getting covered now. Has anyone had any luck with Protopic without uvb?’
As someone who’s followed vitiligo closely, I understand it happens when the cells that give our skin color – these are called melanocytes – get damaged and stop working. This causes patches of skin to lose pigment and turn a milky-white color. It’s a really fascinating, though challenging, condition.
Georgia posted a photo of her hand, which showed noticeable white patches, and told her followers that the skin condition was getting worse.

Vitiligo can affect skin all over the body, and it can even appear in places like the hair or inside the mouth, says the Mayo Clinic.
Georgia shared with her fans in 2022 that she had been diagnosed with a health condition, following years of seeking answers from doctors.
She described having a condition that caused spots on her arms, hands, elbows, and feet, and said new ones were constantly appearing.
It shows up on one side, and then the other. I really try not to let it bother me, but sometimes it’s hard knowing I’ll have to live with this forever, she said.
